Lucaswh 1st Gear June 13, 2013 Share June 13, 2013 am looking to get a new Ball Fireman watch. I see the Fireman Victory, Racer and Racer Classic on the official webpage. There is plenty of info on Victory and Racer online but I don't seem to find much on Racer Classic. Anyone know if RC is available? Planning to head down to Cortina at Vivo to take a look cos that's the only place I came across selling Ball so far. Busy to head out. Any other place near East? ↡ Advertisement

Tedlhw 5th Gear June 13, 2013 Share June 13, 2013 Guys just wanted to tap the wealth of knowledge here. Just bought a new GMT ii to alternate with my daytona. Showing off my new toy to a friend, when he asked "eh, is this the 42mm or 40mm version?" Argued with him about whether there was a new 42mm version for the GMT-ii or the Submariner. He insisted mine was not the latest version despite it being alphanumeric series, and that the latest version was 42mm. The explorer yes, but GMT ii? He later back-pedalled and said it could have been the Sub. Huh? Never hear of it lei? But he was so convinced and said someone showed it to him and he even wore it. Can anyone shed light on it? Throttle2 Supersonic June 13, 2013 Share June 13, 2013 (edited) http://www.clockmaker.com.au/rolex_case_size.html Nope, this is unreliable. I believe he mixed up case and bezel measurements Anyway, there is no need to question anything, just check Rolex official website for reference Edited June 13, 2013 by Throttle2
Viceroymenthol 6th Gear June 13, 2013 Share June 13, 2013 For the same ballpark price, buy explorer 2 40mm( box and paper) or 5513 (no box no paper)?
Throttle2 Supersonic June 13, 2013 Share June 13, 2013 (edited) For the same ballpark price, buy explorer 2 40mm( box and paper) or 5513 (no box no paper)? Dude, (as i am wearing one right this moment) i can tell you the exp2 is the most value for money Rolex sports to get. It is handsome, unique looking and provides GMt function. A really solid thrash around daily beater Get the Exp2 first, then see if you would still want the 5513. The 5513 is purely for nostalgia and the old school charm. Best to Wear that with a a nato Edited June 13, 2013 by Throttle2 ↡ Advertisement
