actually have much more permutations -

also have sport .. and normal cab, double cab etc ..

prices start from about B550,000 (SGD 22,000) for the basic 2 litre manual standard cab all the way up to B1.8+ million (SGD 75,000) for the V6 twin turbo 3 litre Raptor double cab ..

i been to a few car exhibitions in Thai. Small ones, like in Central Festival event hall. Some pickups are available in low ride-height configuration too. Yup, got single cab, twin cab.

I have to correct myself.  There are 6 main variants:

1. XL

2. XL+

3. Sport

4. XLT

5. Wildtrak

6. Raptor

Other than XLT, Wildtrak and Raptor, the rest has sub-variant (Like low rider/Normal, Single/Double cab).

For Wildtrak/Raptor, previous gen uses 2L biturbo diesel.  No announcement of powerplant for this gen.

Aust is using V6 3L Petrol.

Before facelift, it was 3L V6 3.2L diesel.

This is the previous Gen.  It is still showing 2L biturbo.

3 year ago, VINCAR imported wildtrak with 3L V6

That’s for lower main variants.

Higher main variant has no sub-variant.

Nowadays, higher main variant equipment level is the same as equivalent SUV.

probably because the lower main variants are typically used as workhorses in countryside/rural/farm areas so the utility factor is essential.

higher main variants are used by city dwellers 😆
