Jansonchua 2nd Gear August 5, 2014 Share August 5, 2014 but now you have to pay both my & sgp govs to get this good feeling.... which at the end of the day depends on individual if that's the trade off for such 'feel'.... I trust a lot bros here share the same sentiments somehow... Pragmatically, both gov needs to differentiate what makes my people go sgp (earn S$)and what sgp people go jb (spent S$), then guess who would be the pitiful loser.... Yup, I share the same sentiments... I really don't believe that they do not realise the situation as it will pan out... Businesses around customs will definitely be hard hit if those of us who just go in for leisure stopped going in... unless MY government don't mind the loss, they would take action to balance things out. Take away 30km for the rider to rush to petrol station or in case of emergency, the rider will need to go pump every 120km.... Gearosv2 1st Gear August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 Call me selfish, I want the whole situation to last longer before they lower the VEP (if they lower the VEP)... so that business will go down and business owner got no choice but to make their business cheaper... then we can have our old JB back where things are super cheap... hahaha (oops)
evidence 2nd Gear August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 is our aetos and customs more "ON" nowadays checking sgp car's fuel gauge?? now the mission is to find the petrol kiosk that can sell the cheaper petrol...

Take away 30km for the rider to rush to petrol station or in case of emergency, the rider will need to go pump every 120km.... Many riding small bikes dun even fill full tank. Just a couple of RM is their budget for 1 day use. If pple know they always fill full, pple wil steal their petrol when they not around. If kawan wan to ask for lift, they say no petrol. U wan lift but u need to top up my petrol first. Hahahaha. They pump petrol only 5 mins of their time. So everyday fill a couple of RM also no problem. Last time my Msian fren only fill RM5 each time can last a few days to SG n back. He ride Honda cub.

Then maybe I can start going JB again for petrol Etc. Now their prices all super high cos of Sporeans go there to spend spend spend. Nice if their prices can drop til a few years back. Then it becomes worth. Otherwise what for I go in. I might as well spend in SG.
Pisces69 6th Gear August 6, 2014 Share August 6, 2014 Tank is only 5L ? Sorry for being so noob here... Thats why u see Msia mostly small bikes with low FC. They budget RM2-4 can last a few days running about. Last time in SG my big bike (400cc) also only 10lit tank already full to the brim. Can easily get 30km/.lit. I think depends on personal preference bah. Some will save every cent they can, so will go for the cheapest petrol. For me, I will choose b, because even pumping the most expensive petrol still will save quite a fair bit compared to sg, so I will go for the higher octane one.

Haven't seen the petrol checking for the longest time....two years plus since I seen them look... No point pumping the "expensive one" - if so long as octane rating higher than engine was designed for good enough already.. Lately when go the pump attendants not very on, maybe should see if can start to pump 95 again - then savings big big
