ponggol babies can sleep better liao [laugh][laugh][laugh]

huat ah huat ah!!! [laugh]

But i find the access roads/exit to Punggol to be very lacking leh.

Currently, only Sengkang East Road and Punggol Road is connected to the TPE while Punggol East Road connects to Sengkang and traffic is already so congested. I can't imagine when Punggol is fully developed. It will be super congested siah.

So, lessees of existing HDB flats, are you happy now your comprains hv been heard and that your hdb flat price will drop?

No point getting sad, I applauded to the change. We are blinded by greed in the beginning, if we think HDB flats are for investments. We know that HDB was founded to make sure everyone has a roof over their heads.

We had been misguided with promised that HDB is an asset to us. It is NOT, it is a house for us to stay in. I had never believed in EC and I'm glad I never did. I never believed in buying flats just to sell them after 5 years.

It is good that they have done this else it would become a property bubble waiting to burst. Nothing can be sustainable if the price keeps rising, if someone did this just to look good in their KPI then we are paying the price.

We have to keep price down for HDB flat to be readily available for the next generation, and generation to come. We cannot be buillding new BTO when some of the flats remains empty because it was used for property speculations to get profits.

I'm all hands up for this restrictions. We must set the record right. No complaint [thumbsup]

I stayed in those jumbo at Woodlands before. There are 4 bedrooms, the master is huge. The Kitchen is big too.

I think it is a combination of 4 rm flat + 3 rm flat.

IMO, d correct way is to let mkt run up n explode then crash back to earth, then find equilibrium. thats d best way to know wat is really d correct pricing, but coz now we have politics in d way, we have instead CMs etc... woohoo

Blinking game.

If more people can't afford to take a higher loan, it means less people can afford the asking price. So the seller can either wait and hope for someone to bite, or lower the asking price. And with more condos reaching TOP at the end of this year and next year, more HDB flats will be put up for sale. This increased supply + the 25 yr HDB loan / 30 yr bank loan requirement will put more downward pressure on the selling price.

Agree! that is the purpose, push down resale price.

Now i find punggol and sengkang area conside not bad, there are many alternative roads can lead to these two area. You dont really depend only one way in and out, like yishun.

Not so easy to move the entire paya lebar airbase away la. Dont think it will happen in the next 3-4 years. I think they could need at least another 5-10 years later to move the whole airbase.

Thank you for your clarification. But this will have an impact on those serious buyer (newly wed couple) How they expect young couples age 28-32 to afford? Or are they expecting them to buy 2-3 rooms only. If yes, then how can they expect to boost the population? If you know you have a small house, how many kids do you wanna have? Like last time in 70s where a family of 5-6 squeeze into 1 3 room flat, every night sleep in the living with mattress (ti Lum)?

End of the day, solving 1 problem yet created another one.

1) 3 year building lead time = 2016 which is gam gam hole for the backlog of pr buying hdb :D

2) 3 year building time, just need to lun for another 2-3 year, then air base will go away :D
