I thought this is correct? Since he is 104km/h in excess of the 70km/h speed limit means he is travelling at 174km/h on a 70km/h road right?

If he was travelling at 104km/h then the sentence should be he is speeding at 104km/h which is in excess of the 70km/h limit right?

But article say 104.....

article said he was speeding at 104 km/h in excess of the 70 km/h limit... i.e. 104 above the limit of 70 so he was clocked at 174km/h [rolleyes]

Upper Serangoon road at 7pm... traffic so light ah? can do 174km/h..

RIP to the accident victim [bigcry]

Bugger driving supercar? only a handful can accelerate fast enough to 174km/h on roads which are moderately crowded.

Maybe he happened to be the first car at the lights and zoomed off lo. 30s probably enough for most cars to hit 174km/h.

He is travelling at a speed of 104kmh in excess of the speed limit of 70, so correct to be at 174kmh. Very fast on our road.

I guess ST online portal editorial team is half past six one. Then again this is not print, any mistake can just edit the page (machiam we edit our posts ).

Still reflects poorly on them though.
