how to turn off the annoying email notifications

 

email notifications? - I don't get it anymore.

 

lately, I find myself spending a portion of my time in MCF attending to the praise points system.

 

thought it could better used to read the threads.

 

So, decided not to open the NOTIFICATION button since last night.

PEACEFUL.

 

Folks who have given me points, don't be offended if I do not respond. Thank you.

 

 

By the way MODS: does MCF have an option to turn off the PRAISE button?

Noticed that when a post with photo or video is quoted, sometimes the photo & video will be repeated, sometimes it will not.

 

 

What setting must be done in order for the media to be repeated.

Right-click on any image on the internet. Select "copy".

Then come to MCF and "paste".

 

That's called hotlinked image.

Mods, I know we need brownie points to rise to next level.

 

Correction, I now know the purpose of becoming member of the week or month for that matter.

 

All along, I give points to posts that I support but lately I subconsciously felt compelled to "return the praise" after receiving brownie points.

 

Last time, I just read and praise when I login. Now, I login and address notifications (return the points) asap before I can start reading the forum. I don't lose sleep when I run out of points but I find it meaningless to be in the constant cycle of "return/receive/return" points.

 

Could the mods improve the system so that it becomes enjoyable and not a rat race to chalked up as many points as possible?

 

It is rather pathetic when I see members whose posts makes sense no longer posting/informing me that they can't return the points just because they couldn't keep up with the system.

bro don't overthink too much and just enjoy the forums. personally i havent come across someone who expect reciprocation yet, but i guess everyone's results may vary?
