the last fight before vettel overtook alonso for good was extremely close and drangerous

wheel to wheel with little to no space ... alonso also cut in to close the gap ... lol

there is still no report that is it true vettel can use DRS in non DRS zone ... a glitch in the system?

It was a good race. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the race between Alonso and Vettel, bitter rivalry showing their best offensive and defensive skills.

In the end, Alonso conceded, but not before putting up a great fight for the audience's viewing pleasure. Vettel made some valid points, but he is as guilty in some cases (exceeding track limit) and is clearly turning out to whine more than usual.

It was close, but that is what racing is all about. The track in Silverstone is wide enough for two cars to be side by side. Alonso left a gap on most part of the battle, but to overtake Alonso, you need not just gap, but guts and good judgment. Someone who closed off gap abruptly is Schumacher after his return, not Alonso.

I believe it was not possible that DRS can be activated in a non DRS zone as the ECU is programmed not to allow such activation.

Well, I may be wrong, but there are no complaints from the FIA stewards on Alonso and/or Vettel after the race.

yeah, that's racing

i guess vettel cant handle the heat unlike last year he got a good car and overtaking was easy. now redbull car is not very competitive making overtaking nerve wrecking ... lol

now rosberg and hamilton can overtake car like a piece of cake. even p6 to p8 (3rd or 4th row) also no problem to win the race.

spectators already wasted 1 hour waiting ...

if only race for 1 hour and complete only 1/2 of 52 laps ... riot liao ... lol

I wondering how come the 2hour time limit wasn't applied?

Juz for sharing, not hijacking hor, so moderator relax a bit !!

heard over BBC , soon we will be having F e, it electric racing car to be held in London, Shanghai . . . [:)]

quality sounds a slight tweating , not more roar and exhaust burst, more like a vacuum mc or food processor, but less polluted and carbon foot-print.

coz it was a red flag.

But when the red flag first started the commentators were saying that there is still a 2 hour time limit starting from the time the 5 lights go out. So they made a mistake? The rest of the race I didn't follow so much cos watching Wimbledon final on another channel.

He is creating attention. He is not the star of 2014. He is into the season with 3 races w/o points and only 2 third place podium finishes, he must be feeling low after 4 years of high.

Mercedes AMG PETRONAS team will clinch the Constructors' Championship 2014. I do not believe Nico has a good chance against Lewis Hamilton, so having them in the best team out there, I support Lewis to clinch the Drivers' Championship 2014.
