Hoamchu 2nd Gear June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 My SE said they will register before end June, but can only collect car in Jul.... He expects a bottle neck during end June and early July If fact, once you got your COE and agreed on the price, it will be better to register in July. My own opinion is CEVS works against car buyer, not agent.
Spirited 1st Gear June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 Looks like reliability is for the older model of QQ. The current reliability ratings for qashqai from current owners rated 2.8/5 on car buyer website. http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/nissan/qashqai/hatchback/owner-reviews#owner-reviews
Sannynserene 2nd Gear June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 (edited) If fact, once you got your COE and agreed on the price, it will be better to register in July. My own opinion is CEVS works against car buyer, not agent. To the buyer, price is already fix, but A) If register in Jun, i) AD gets $10,000 rebate (not you, because the selling price to you is already fixed) ii) Buyer gets lesser scrap value/ rebate upon de-registration at the end of 10 years B) If register in Jul and later, i) AD gets $5,000 rebate (not you, because the selling price to you is already fixed) ii) Buyer gets $2,500 more scrap value/ rebate upon de-registration at the end of 10 years compared to if register in Jun. So, the AD will chiong to register in June rather than July if possible, since the selling price is already fixed. As someone who works in manufacturing, I know it is common to have manufacturing and/ or quality problems during the initial production. There is no way to identify and correct all the problems before the initial production. Even Lexus in US is one of the most complained cars. It takes time to receive feedback and work to correct them. Sometimes it could also be due to problems with their down tier suppliers. It takes time to stablise everything. Think it happens to all cars, although some got more faults than others. To be fair, the few who encounter problems may shout very loudly, the many who is happy with their cars may just be very quiet.

If customer says wanted to register in July, TC may ask them pay for the different in CEVS as this is requested by customer. Unlike other AD, they specifically stated register before and after June two different prices. I think once TC received the downpayment cheque, they will register the car even the cheque not clear yet.
gohhappy39 1st Gear June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 Hi guys, 1. Some question on our dashboard display showing the Trip 1 & Trip 2. I can see that Trip 2 will track the mileage we clock for every drive, meaning it will reset by itself everytime you turn on the engine (please correct me if i'm wrong). However i do not understand the mileage tracking under Trip 1. an someone enlighten me? haha.. 2. I also assume the Fuel consumption 1 & 2 will corresponding to the mileage tracked inTrip 1 & Trip 2. Yes? 3. How do i make use of these measurements to track the FC (km/L) based on per tank?

So, Trip 1 will keep recording and adding all your miles until you reset it. ii) Yes, fuel consumption 1 & 2 will corresponding to mileage in Trip 1 & 2. iii) If you want to track FC base on per tank, just reset Trip 1 every time you refill. Tristan21 Neutral Newbie June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 any bros out there driving qq experience air con issue? sometimes cold sometimes not cold? was told by tc its a air con module that is broken I'm on an Xtrail. Previously i have set my aircon temp to 24 degrees. Initially when i have gotten the car, i was driving mostly in the day, so the aircon was ok. I had my first issue with the aircon not being as cold as it should be when i was driving on the highway at night. I reckon it was the thermostat that activated, but it felt less cool to the extent that i sweated on my forehead. So i use my dual mode aircon and adjusted the my driver side aircon to 22 degrees and rest of the car to 24 degrees. After that no issue. Now i also switched back to single mode at 23 degrees, also no issue of aircon getting less cool. Not sure if it's the same situation you are facing. Or should i get the aircon checked by TC? gohhappy39 1st Gear June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 Hi, At 19 degrees setpoint, you probably can feel the cold at the the diffuser (just like our home aircon). If you find that its not cold enough, probably should go back TC to check. Btw, u did set the "internal circulation" button is on right? for mine, i set my temperature at 19 degrees so it should have no reason to be not cold, i think for 24 degrees that you set is not cold enough, i think at that temperature will activate the air circulation. for mine it was not cold till the extend i sweated on my back

Sometimes I set mine at 26 degrees and cold air comes out. So, I believe there is something wrong with yours, get it check.
