Ahgong Supercharged April 17, 2014 Share April 17, 2014 when in malaysia, having your own ride makes for more flexible commuting. esp when one is a disabled, trying to use public transport, is PAINFUL~!

Yuan 6th Gear April 18, 2014 Share April 18, 2014 must be going at some crazy super fast speed. been on the NSH recently. some of the crazy speeds that drivers are going are really scary~! Owners and drivers best know their own vehicles very well. When it is time to push and when it is time to pull. Thus though the place is big or the highway is longer, I still advocate and emphasize all the more the use and practice of defensive driving. Since they are public roads, there are other road users around anytime and anywhere.

Duckduck Turbocharged April 20, 2014 Share April 20, 2014 (edited) just got back frm KL yest. Saw a cement mixer off d highway in a big drain n another car front totally smashed. when overtaking big trucks, b v careful as many dont bother to check if traffic is nearby or not. This karpal singh also "asking" for it by travelling at midnight... so many crazy drivers still wanna drive at night. alot of trucks dont signal n some dont even have lights on. When they turn v hard to judge especially if u r speeding. RIP karpal singh. many yrs ago a van suddenly stopped completely in front of me n i almost smashed into it. didnt expect any cars to stop in the middle of the road. when driving in boleh be prepared for anything Edited April 20, 2014 by Duckduck

adam5 1st Gear April 20, 2014 Share April 20, 2014 Don't drive at night in M'sia if you can help it. Because it is damn dangerous at times. The highway is not lighted except toll stations and R&R. If alot of vehicles on the road is OK. Some areas are so dark especially around 3-4.00am when there is no car. Be careful. Some lorries are badly lighted. Some don't bother to changed their sidelights until it is time for vehicle inspection. They are suppose to put reflective tape at the rear but some do not. Sometimes it is covered up by the canvas or the back cover is down. Worst of all, the tarpaulin is dark green and the whole back is painted dark brown. Perfect camouflage. You get a big shock when you come upon them. It maybe the last thing you see. No joke. That why the worst accidents occur mainly after 12 midnight involving lorries/buses and unsuspecting car driver. Express buses run at 140-160km/hr. Road bullies run even faster. No police patrol. Law of the jungle prevails.
