A dislodged No.1 will usually seek a move elsewhere. Other outfield positions can encourage fighting for starting berth but keeper you don't usually rotate much. Yes I acknowledge that and the ridiculously lop-sided TV rights in La liga gives the 2 giants even more money to pull further away from the rest! They also achieved success first and as such got a headstart on the other teams. The rich get richer and the smaller clubs can't break this stronghold.
