Ryan Giggs gets offer to assist Van Gaal

http://www.espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1821721/ryan-giggs-offered-assistant-manager-post-manchester-united-source?cc=4716&ex_cid=ESPNFC+Facebook

So Van Gaal is confirmed and Giggs may be the assistant. [thumbsup]

No surprise there on vG's appointment. Single horse run after Anchelotti turned down the approach. Good that Giggs can stay on to learn from vG too if he is inspired to be future Man U manager.

VG needs a old bird to tame the rest. After that is settled, the door is over there. -_-

Hard to say now. Maybe vG the one to be shown the door first :D

Man Utd should have gotten someone with vast experience in the 1st place. Moyes just do not belong to that caliber.

Fergie believed otherwise at that point in time I believe.

The Independent say Chelsea will offer Romelu Lukaku a new contract, allaying fears he would be included in any deal for Diego Costa.

With all these news circulating or revolving around LVG being the next Man Utd manager, there is almost no need to announce him as the next manager. It can be implied or inferred from the news sources. :D

Standard too far already. [sleeping]

Fergie had nearly 3 decades to polish the team. Maybe he thought Moyes will be given sufficient time too but at this time and age, no such luxury. Not when it is a top team competing at the highest level.

Money is the root of all evil.

I don't pity Moyes. He lost the dressing room and had no way to bring them back up. It was time for him to leave to avoid any further damage.

Well, he was supposed to have 6 years to rebuild. But not making UCL is not acceptable by the board as they needed the money and kept hold of the investors.

I pity Moyes because he shouldn't have trust his old friend to take over that job.

True. But if he stayed in Everton, the toffees may not be that high up in the table [grin]
