Maybe he thought Moyes will be given sufficient time too but at this time and age, no such luxury. Not when it is a top team competing at the highest level. I agree. The demands and expectations of football of today are so different than those of 20-30 years ago. Tat's one key factor too But I think SAF doesn't has much liking for another Scottish... Dalglish Somehow SAF & Moyes like quite good buddy... trading their players... or rather more ManU to Everton. Everton to ManU -> Rooney ManU to Everton -> Howard, P Neville, D Gibbson, Saha (or perhaps dumping ground for those unwanted by ManU let Everton have them on the cheap ) Machiam feeder club relationship. because both are Scottish. There is another Scottish manager in the EPL and in my opinion, his records or credentials are far better than Moyes: Paul Lambert. Villa's performance this season has been dismal but considering that he is a far junior manager than Moyes and what he had achieved with Norwich and done at Villa, I wouldn't rule him out in any way. As for playing days, Paul was a successful footballer with Scottish honors, Champions League success and Intercontinenal Cup victory with Dortmund. Wait for Van Gaal-United deal continues Manchester United are unlikely to name Louis van Gaal as their next manager on Thursday as the possibility grows that the Dutchman's appointment will be delayed until next week, a source has told ESPN FC. The United board are keen for some continuity on the coaching staff and Giggs has some high-profile admirers in the club's hierarchy, who believe he could be a future manager of the club. Van Gaal has been attending a pre-World Cup training camp in Holland and it has been reported that the Dutch FA do not want the build up to their friendly against Ecuador disrupted by news about the manager's future. I think it is the City council drawing up plans on the routes and so forth. The club did not prepare for anything after that Man City victory. For Arsenal, I guess ok lah, they are odds on favourite and no harm getting the bus ready days in advance. but after that picture leaked, it sure pissed off some people.
