Will be surprise if Rafa accept the job. They have sounded out De Boer as well but unlikely he will leave Ajax.

Costa deal is expected.

rafa is a saavy manager.

he might be the one to make spurs into a top 4 contender.

next season will be interesting.

all the bookies backing manure to recover. no european matches might just be the advantage they need...

they could do a pool next season.

city and chelsea more or less will take 2 spots.

pool. manure. arse. maybe spurs and everton for the other 2.

key to success is how pool buys in the off season. getting enough depth and quality to juggle european cup match and a title challenge is a problem.

experience in juggling europe and domestic is one aspect that they lose out to the rest.

man c keep buying 2-3 very good players each window. n none of their players r going out. they keep getting stronger while the others play catch up.

don't worry about catching up.

just don't let manure and arse overtake.

first season back in europe. priority should be to maintain their domestic momentum and stay in top4.

dropping out of top 4 after one wonder season is a bad sign...

Newly-crowned BPL champion Man City return again for Porto duo, Fernando Reges & Eliaquim Mangala, in a £45m double swoop.

FFP damm useless liddat if that's the case...

It is just half baked imo.

What is the fine to these mega rich clubs? They just take from loose change to pay fine then continue to splash. Same reason when Ferrari drivers just park anywhere they like. Parking fines are peanuts to them.

If they have the balls, just banned the teams from European competition. That will have impact.

Yes, only allow to register a small team and still keeping the homegrown restriction. But this is not going to hurt them much as well.

M'Vila didn't make it too. He has been frozen out at Rubin apparently.

are we back in for him ?

how about rumours of a Masch return ? [nod]

I don't understand this at all, call up Shaw as back-up but if Baines injured; they prefer Cole! Then why call up Shaw in the first place?

It's good to give youth a chance but we're talking about the World Cup here.

Countries should be choosing their best 23 and not just put in youth to give them exposure. Barkley, I can understand abit cos he can produce some magic perhaps from the bench but it's a big risk for defenders against the likes of Robben, Ribery, Ronaldo,De Maria, the thought sends shivers down my spine!!!

Damage control. Cole already retired after being snubbed. Flano or Stones will be drafted in if any of the defenders get injured

That's possible and likely the case but frankly, as good as Flano and Stones have been in EPL this season and also Shaw for that matter; it's a big jump from EPL to World Cup. Those guys haven't even played in UCL yet!

I'm England Supporter and whilst deep down I know they don't have much of a chance, I expect them to put up a good performance from the Motherland of football! So too me, it should have been Baines/Cole for the left back role.

More of Roy H himself a deadwood with no new tricks in his attacking style..... -_-

His 6 months with Liverpool was an example .... [grin]

I don't even think England can enter into the Quarter Final in 2014 WC..... <_<

Hearing something interesting regarding to Lallana/Shaw situation.

Southampton has a debt from players purchases to service by this summer, in the region of £25-27m.

They are hoping to sell one and keep one. Meaning the money from the first sale will help to pay off the debt and ease the pressure on selling the other.

That said, if the second one still want to go, they will be willing to deal at a lower price.

Because he never play for Man U lol

FC Porto and Man City have reached an agreement for Fernando. €20m

All happy. Man City get their guy, Porto get huge profit (compare to Jan window when he could sign pre contract and leave for free) and player get good pay cheque.

Win-win-win

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/378763/Everton-star-Ross-Barkley-TOLD-to-sign-for-Liverpool-in-38m-deal

1) Can Pool afford Brakley at that price?

2) Is he worth that price?

3) Don't remember any player in recent history moving across Stanley Park, either way. Last time had Ablett, McMahon but none since then if not mistaken!
