Don't mean to be a wet blanket or anything, but if shaw and lallana are really soooo good (jay rodriguez also not bad), how come sotong still finish below man u? IIRC they were top five for the first half of the season and then started free falling.....so I am a bit cool towards the lallana thing....I think pool need someone better than him to do well in UCL and make another title run next season...

More of the styles of play thats suit BR attacking style. -_-

BR likes short players, Allen/sterling/Coutinho etc. All of them are less than 175cm one. Lallana is short, He fits very well to BR's requirements [:p]

Shorter players meaning CG lower, better ball control :)

Like Messi and Maradona :)

But, they cant run as fast and head as well as CR7 :D

Rumours that Wellbeck, RVP, Kagawa and Valancia not wanted by the new manager V. Gaal ... [shocked]

van gaal will turn man u into an all dutch team. IIRC, his wishlist mainly dutch players.

Guess it's quite natural sometimes....rafa also assembled his "Spanish armada" at pool....

Frankly speaking, the rest I not sure but RVP will be in his good book for sure. If not for him, van Gaal would have taken up the job at WHL.

25m for a left back? [hur]

If 25m for Shaw vs 20m for Lallana, I rather spend on Shaw. He is still very young and have at least 10 good years in him. Even out, £2.5m per season. Lallana I give him 5 yrs max and will cost £4m per season.

We need LB more desperately too.

Man U should really go for Shaw... his partnership with Januzaj will be awesome as he's raid down the left will provide the flexibility for Januzaj to float infield provide more attacking options [thumbsup]

25M for an 18 yrs old is indeed a BIG sum... but worth taking the risk.

Good luck. At £27m, he is yours unless Chelsea come in with a late bid.

haha... at least i pretty sure he'll be a much better buy than the BIG head Fellaini [laugh]

No doubt Chelsea can out-bid us if they wanted to... very much depend on the kid where he want to go.

Unfortunately it is a fact the British transfer market is inflated esp for English players. I believe Southampton would not let Shaw leave for less than 30m and Lallana will not go for less than 25m.

Ridiculous isn't it but that's life and why without the rich owners, it's

almost impossible to compete in the transfer market unless you are Man U

or thos e top 5 revenue generating clubs ie Bayern, Real, Barca

If you let the kid decide, it will be Chelsea.

Don't think so bro. All three we interested but never gonna to afford their demanded wages.

Those we can realistically sign but last min tio hijacked are Dempsey, Willian (by Spurs) and Salah (by Chelsea).
