Unltd 5th Gear July 9, 2014 Share July 9, 2014 Ermm.. My cam only record while on the move.. If you errr.. think got case... Probably can engage the workshop lawyer or your own lawyer to take it on.. .but the other party who witnessed must be unwavering la.... otherwise... may pose even more trouble for you... I know it is a bad time for this... but i suggest you go wire up a proper cam which records when stationary as well la... when things like these happen, it pays for itself many times over.... Yeochris Clutched July 9, 2014 Author Share July 9, 2014 Lorry driver already called TP to come down yesterday. TP did call me too to inform me my vehicle was hit, but he told me they wont release any info to me. They will only do their parts to investigate. Told me to go make a report and do my own claim! Crashburner 3rd Gear July 10, 2014 Share July 10, 2014 Police report is for record purposes only. But in this case, you have the offending car license plate number so they will investigate as hit-and-run. My parked car was rammed by a Malaysian car in NUS carpark several years back. Thank goodness the driver who was a student got cold feet and called back the carpark management a few days later to confess. Else my insurance premium will shoot up
Carnoob Supercharged July 10, 2014 Share July 10, 2014 Lorry driver already called TP to come down yesterday. TP did call me too to inform me my vehicle was hit, but he told me they wont release any info to me. They will only do their parts to investigate. Told me to go make a report and do my own claim! I guess the TP is either too busy or too garung to take time and explain. TP will investigate but they will not released the information they gathered during their course of investigation similarly to all crime cases. The individual will need to lodge a written report at any police post or station with reference to the TP report number. Then the individual will use the report for insurance claim purposes. If the insurance decides to pursue further like claiming back from the hit and run driver, they can then request the TP investigation report through their appointed lawyer. So do the report and let the insurance company do the follow-up. That's why we pay premium to them!
