X18 2nd Gear March 21, 2016 Share March 21, 2016 Hi all, got my Levorg back in Jan 16. Who else is driving one here? Hi, I have been targeting Levorg since it was launched. Would you mind giving some review on the drive and ride quality? Do you find the power is sufficient and is the ride harsh (due to 18" alloys)? I have some concerns on the noise insulation of Levorg. How do you find the road noise (wind noise and tyre noise) when the car is cruising at more than 110km/h? Thanks in advance for your sharing. Cheers. Hi, I would say the drive quality is good, the interior have conti feel, drive in terms of power is decent. I have seen review that the steering is heavy and ride is harsh but this is by far the lightest steering car I have till date, even though steering is light at higher speed it is still firm. Ride I personally feel it is soft, this depends on which car you came from. I have a car where a bump will send vibration from ass to neck, so this car feels very comfortable. There are some wind noise above 140kph, 110kph nothing much. Tyre noise is ok, I think with any 18 inch rims the tyre noise will be more then the smaller rims. I have no complains till date. Agreed nice ride , the CVT gear box has been tuned to feel like auto gear box . and i mean feel only.. however, i do find it quite noisy from the wheels.. sound insulation can be better. LaoPokCar78 Clutched March 21, 2016 Share March 21, 2016 Collecting my Levorg from MI this week. Road registration just completed today. Fortunately whatever extra (reverse sensors) I was trying to ask for was already included in the standard package, so no complaints from me. LaoPokCar78 Clutched March 21, 2016 Share March 21, 2016 Hi RedLevorg, Yes I think it depends on one's point of reference, I find the Levorg's steering quite light and ride firm but definitely not harsh. My old car was a DC5R, the Levorg is a very civilised and comfy grand tourer in comparison. Cheers! Starblind 2nd Gear March 22, 2016 Share March 22, 2016 Congrats to those who have ordered and collecting the Levorg soon. Please keep the reviews coming in. Have test drove the car and I think it handles well for a car of it's size and weight. Am driving a Swift Sport which will scrap in Sept and looking for a more civilised car with more leg room that still handles well and looks good.
