Taxi switching lane without signalling

Gauging from the responses here, it seems that local drivers are still very tolerant of errant road users. It's true, life is too short.

I also consider myself to be a safe and tolerant driver and also practice defensive driving by anticipating other road users' behaviours.

Still, I would make a report as and when I have the spare time so as to wake up the errant drivers. Prevention is better than cure.

Furthermore, the police just had a good pay raise, so they will be motivated to work harder and also where's the money gonna come from?

There's a fine line between making full use of taxpayers money and waste taxpayer's money on petty matters.

But hey, it's your call and your time. Do let us know your complain letter and the response. (I'm done it and posted before for other incidents)

BTW, before you send, do take note that the police may refer the video to the taxi company and the taxi company may take action on the driver by TERMINATING his employment for this incident. It's happened to one of my friend before when his intention is only to warning the Taxi driver and not take away his rice bowl.

If you can sleep soundly tonight knowing that, please go ahead.

If my job can be on the line, then I would drive safely too.

Drive safely every single time, without fail?

Talk is cheap. Sorry, it's free.

May I ask you a question?

You must be honest answering this question. Since the day you got a car. Did you signal every lane change, every turn, signal on when stationary stop.

This lane change without signal is very common. More common than those with signal on. [speechless]

He mentioned in his previous post he also don't signal all the time. But he report these drivers so that he can remind himself.

Maybe he should just post his license plate no. here so we can all send in when we spot him so he can get reminders that he need to signal before changing lane.

I think in all the incidents, the camera car seems to be driving fast!!!Again is it a case of objects appearing to travel fast than what they are in a video cam?

butty, incident #1 is camera car's fault.. he going against traffic.

but i gotta say i'd have treated the taxi driver a nice high beam in incident #3.. must try to relax when i'm behind the wheel [dizzy]
