New speed cameras along Upper Thomson Road

There are two new speed cameras (towards Lornie rd and towards Sembawang rd) currently under installation along UpperThomson Road, close to the junction of SLE . I have attached a file to pinpoint the locations of the cameras.

The cameras should be operational within the next few days.

They should simply build speed humps on every single road every 50m in SG and call it a day.

yes, saw the speed cameras mentioned. But there is no signage to warn motorists of speed camera ahead.

I am a regular user of this road . Driving northbound , need to watch out for white ants on overhead bridge near Thomson Plaza and Pierce Sec School . After these two spots , can cheong a bit after Tagore but now they install camera .

 

Looks like I will have to detour into Old Upper Thomson Rd instead for some fun on the curvy road .

Same here. Just keep watch on your speed while driving along this stretch of the road.

Not operational yet, but should be soon. Saw a Mini Cooper zoomed past this morning but no action.

This stretch quite easy to go above the limit if never watch your speed and i encountered a lot of cars going above the limit.. I guess the initial few weeks upon operation the gov is going to get a lot of $$$ from here

I hope at least they put up some signs to warn motorists.

They should really remove or flatened the 3 humps on old upp thomson, let drivers re-live SINGAPORE GP of the 70s!!!!
