Haven't tried 水煮鱼before, despite the fact that I love spicy food. One of these days must go Sichuan douhua court to try it.

水煮鱼 is always with a layer of chilli oil...

How to combine with 拉面?

Turbocharged

Haven't tried 水煮鱼before, despite the fact that I love spicy food. One of these days must go Sichuan douhua court to try it.

Going n try d Lao Sichuan at Outram road. Tried before, peng san. Got to hunt for d chicken pieces among dried chilli n d tung hoon basked in chilli oil. Like hunting liddat. Next day purge.

Ayam Penyat at King Penyat.

 

The chicken was superb. The little fried bean curds were very rich in texture too but had a little sour taste, probably turning stale...

 

The chilli was too spicy for my taste. I could possibly spit fire if I had some more of it...still had perspiration at the back of the neck even after half an hour.

Turbocharged

Lunch at Hong Lim Food Centre today. Sotong ball soup. One of my favorite stall in Chinatown area.

Only open Mon-Thurs lunch hours.
