ha ok. I've never eaten before. The appearance of the enoki makes the dish sauce look starchy.

Just my personal preference for cooking/eating enoki.

I try to cook it often cos my wife likes it.

So far my favourite is to pair it with a vegetable with a firm stem like nai bai or small kai lan (but i hate to prep kai lan) and some pork

the way to cook 麻辣香锅 is not stir fried though it appear like one.

it actually boil the ingredients separately then mixed with the mala sauce. quite 'healthy' actually [laugh]

This coffeeshop is not visible from the road. So only the taxi uncles, local residents know there's a coffeeshop there.

Haha

The Armenian St CKT there is not bad as well.

But i had mild diarrhoea a few times after i eat the hum so stopped eating liao.

Actually I find the ckt one of the worst I have tasted

I read the package, and instead of boiling, you should actually deep fried all the ingredients.

The ckt standard actually fluctuate greatly. The last time I tried couple of weeks back, it is actually not bad. I think when ieat write about this stall, and when q started to form, the standard really drop like shit.

Nowadays got q for the ckt??

I tried it once when they first opened the stall there

Never touched it since

Had dinner at Paradise Inn Bedok Point. Standards have dropped tremendously since last visit about 6 months back. Problem with large chain restaurants is they don't seem to be able to keep up a high level of consistency in their food. And it was not even crowded today so lack of preparation time can't be the excuse. So its either high staff turnover among chefs or they cutting corners....

Many times, I prefer to eat at Tze Char shops where the chef stays the same and quality is more of less consistent.

Really enjoyed the food of my labour this weekend.

Had chicken cordon bleu and fried wings at ikea, DTF, MOF...etc.

Had these at Aji-ichi with extended family. Don't know what they were but were oishii nonetheless except for the hokkaido cheese cake which was hard instead of soft.

We might not like the influx of Chinese nationals, but we really love the mala Xiang guo.

Dinner at Nene.

Wanted to eat at the HK dessert but wife wanted the chicken.

So I said :"ok,let's go eat your nene." Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my arm. Looked down and saw her 'Wuxi finger hold' pinching my slander arm.

That set is actually almost a perfect company to go along on a football night. I'd trade the drink with beer any day though.
