Same here, check on the trade in of the tyres and find it not worth thus take a pass.

Another thing is cause I spend too much recently on the carpets and etc ~

To tahan longer, must do tyre rotation.

Heard that it should be done every 10KM travelled ??

Often it is tied to the 10k regular servicing interval.

BM seems to do that every servicing, which I opt'ed out.

IMHO, it really depends on the tyres, tyre wear pattern and time.

My tyre wear pattern is such that the left outer part of the front-left-tyre wears out much faster.

The wear on both rear tyres are quite even.

Since the PS3 (better and expensive)  can be rotated front/back/left/right,  I will probably monitor them closely

for the 1st 10k km to determine the best time to rotate so that I can maximize all four tyres.

In the time aspect,  I try to choose fresh tyres with a manufacturing date code of about a year ( less better ) and

the tyre in-service useful lifespan to be about 2 years from the date of installation.   Even if the tyres don't wear out,

they will be changed.

The practice for my previous car, no tyre rotation was done. When the front wears out,  the rear pair replaces them and new

ones are installed in the rear.

This works for me because

a) only 1 choice of tyres,

b) they are not that expensive (luckily)

Anyone knows how to set the wiper to auto-rain detection?  I thought I have set it to auto-mode but it seems not working.  Not sure if I have set it correctly.

First you must set to auto (in line with it of cause) then push the wiper down 1 notch

(This is what I did, not sure if totally correct but it works)

Anyone knows where to buy air con filter for new Altis? Going for 40k service soon, don't want to spend a bomb on their overpriced filter.

Yes, super expensive @ $89.  I just changed.  [laugh]

Omg !  :a-bang:

I just sign the infinity plan today - meaning i am bound to their servicing >.<

Eh... aircon filter is an optional item.

Ohh ok.

Meaning I must get my aircon filter when go over for servicing

(*Time to source for cheaper alternative)

Not sure if BM will allow - meaning, best is to DIY change.

I think somewhere in this thread there is the instruction.

P.S.  Don't ask me why I ask them to change at that price ! [laugh] .
