Hi all, when i brake, there is always a slight knock knock sound from steering at the front.. is it common? Txs

If the sound happens at the very first start car of the day, engine started n before move off,in P mode n hand brakes engage, press the foot brake pedal hard for at least 5 times...if still happen, pls send to BM n chk asap

Thanks mate! feels weird foglights are yellow and LEds are white #nogo

Anyone change the horn to stebel magnum horn?

IIRC, it is because yellow is more "penetrating".

Txs. Mine is like whenever i brake to a stop especially when steering turning right or left before parking, a few knock knock noise to halt.. getting louder. Now mileage 3500km, should i send it in now or 5000km? I need to redo 3M window film too, so many bubbles with trapped dust underneath despite 3M reapplied it for 3 windows during my 1000km servicing.

I would think if braking distance/effect while driving no compromise n u can live with the sound,5k then send in is fine....

I will suggest to book an appointment and go and check.

Never compromise with safety esp when it comes to brake.

Just my 2 cents worth

Neutral Newbie

Hi everyone,

I just collected my new Altis, after retiring my previous one which served me well for the last 10 years. Haha.

I am still familiarising myself with the new features. I'm new to this forum. Must say the posts you shared are very useful and I've learned a lot. Thanks.

I've a question. My previous car has lock and unlock beeps when I used the remote in my previous car but the new one is silent when I pressed the lock or unlock. Do you know if it's possible for me to get this feature back in my new Altis?

It's useful in situations when I'm looking for the car in a big car park lot and I forgot the spot where I parked it. Haha.

Thanks heaps![:)]

Get it done with aftermarket device.. Or retrofit with silicon car alarm. Very cheap only. Edited by Ivan_06
