I just got this new ride lately.

Anyone got a work around for getting the "car finder" sound installed in this model?

My previous altis was the 2009 model; miss the sound when I lock/unlock the car, and especially when I forgot where I park in a big parking space. How to get those "sound" back? What and where can I install similar gadgets? Thanks!

vehicle info has 2 items only.

1) trip history and details

2) eco drive - how well have you used eco drive. based on 5 leaves. the more means you used it more efficiently

My Wish only show 'ECO drive' info....nothing about trip history/details...will post this question in the Wish thread

Think it's the same one. The one with the volume button on the right corner.

Quite good fuel consumption for yours too

Nice! got 2 questions:

1) what is the charging amp of the USB?

2) how is the port being secured such that it can withstand the pressure when we insert the cable into the port?

Standard USB connector's design lifetime is 1,5000 insertion/removal cycles.

At 2 insertion/removal cycles per day,  that will approximate to be slightly more than 2 years.

Standard USB output is 5V.

Some of the newer smartphones supports quick charging which takes about 30mins to charge from 0% - 50%.

There are cigarette socket chargers which supports this.

there is already a USB output on the HU. Do you need another?

That USB on the head unit quite unsightly if using to charge anything.

I'm actually looking to place the charger close to the ignition area, since I clip my phone there.

There are a lot of empty "slots" on the car. Thinking to utilize those. BM took in a v basic model

Your maths sala.

Should be more than 20 years if 2 x a day at 15000 gross.

2 x 365 = 730 times per year.

Maybe you mean 1,500 instead?
