Stanfordho96 2nd Gear January 12, 2016 Share January 12, 2016 (edited) I met Nick to get my new W205 C180 Monster Tuned. btw its custom tuned not piggy back. When I roll up the dyno, they measured 170bhp and 275Nm at the Crank, that's 10% higher than the spec given by MB which is 154bhp and 250Nm. I was told that I'm gonna expect up to 30% of power gain from stock which I thot would be 170bhp as base HAHA. but sadly It's 30% gain from paper. So end of the tune I gained another 21% to 201bhp & 333Nm at crank! The Peak torque comes in 200rpm earlier from 2400 rpm to 2200rpm all the way to 4400rpm. Haven test the 0-100kph. but the turbo lag is still awful and kicks in unpredictably. But somehow I found out that when I half throttle the car, I can get the turbo to kick in then I can proceed to floor. and instance when I floor it at startup the turbo refuses to kick in :( how can I correct Turbo lag guys? FC wise I've yet to test. Will update u guys! but somehow the tank lasted me 2/3 days more than usual. No sure what you meant by custom tuning ...remapping and reflash of ecu ? No, you can have piggyback thst takes over ecu signal to get to the various tweaked components without reamapping and reflash of ecu ...pls check out racechip ultimate whose distro and mfgr participated in the recent motor show.
