Precisely. Use the statistics and information to play on forex or stock exchange and make money better right? In that way you get more money to pay for the high Coe and other stuff. Why some people in this forum just limit their analysis to Coe? Analyse analyse so much for that few k of saving.Think big la.

Haha.. those analysis you have to pay... No analyst is going to give it out for free.

The free ones are useless, much as well tikam.

Why today don't have COE bidding?

thought 2 weeks interval from last bidding already :a-dothewave:

Next bid is 6 July and thereafter 20 July.

3 weeks to gather orders. If COE cannot stay up, then real pathetic.

Because of the revision in CEVS rebates, most of the cars are affected in terms of lesser rebates by up to 10k so that's why they haven't dropped so far.

But if u looking for Jap below 100K..u have to wait till COE reach below 50K at least

CEVS practically is dealer profit margin

dealer either reduce margin or increase car price ... i guess we all know the answer

Car dealers need to anticipate the COE that they have to pay for, otherwise have to eat into their own margins to give you your 1 bid guarantee'd car. Each AD/PI will make their own decision with respect to the market share that they want to capture (ie revenue and margin). BM has already given profit warnings a few months back as they expects the COE to yo-yo back and forth, which makes it hard for them to price correctly. So they rather be conservative than to eat margins.

If you observe the price list carefully. Week immediately after COE announcement, only korean and some small dealers (like Subaru) make a small price cut. Then last weekend, prices move downwards a little more (VW cut 2K from list).

Maybe this weekend will make more, maybe not. Depending on the orders they already have in the books.

As in other threads, from some of the bulls soundings, I suspect this weekend will drop a little more as I suspect orders has not met quota for some of the brands.
