Anyone face the issue of the android auto not working? Initially it was working fine, then 1 day it says the app in the phone was outdated. After update the phone app, it worked ok. Now the phone app says the android auto on the car is outdated and need to approach manufacturer.

Yes, in black and white, when i book mid march, comes with front and back.

Usually they will give lousy brands unless your specify what u want

Encounter this error only once ever since driving for almost 1.5 months. (furthermore is just right after my 1K servicing,). I didn't upgrade my handphone android auto apk as it seems to be the latest . (Ver 3.0.570553). I reconnect the phone and is back to normal.

 

Anyway. I changed to a better quality phone charging cable. No problem since . (finger cross)

Not even fine scratches? Thought it is the same as you wash your car at those petrol station, after washing confirmed would have fine scratches de?!

 

So is thinkware better or blackvue? $600 is front only or front and back? Actually it is worth to invest a good car cam la, cause if really anything happen, you would want a clear and sharp evidence lo, instead of a blur or unclear image.

$600 is for both channels. Can find on Qoo10 or from the Thinkware website...

the hp car cams that came included in my elantra has been working well over the past few months, no issues encountered so far, the video capture quality is quite good, even at night low light... anyways, its just to record traffic footage just in case, not exactly filming professional hollywood movie. lol.

 

it comes with the box and manuals when you collect the car, so i guess if you want to change to another brand or model, can just bring to any car accessory shop and see if you can trade it in for another car cam.

Need some advise here. My friend just collected his ride and had some issue with smart trunk, it's going to sound stupid but just need to know from the owners. He owns Elite trim and I am waiting to collect mine.

 

Case 1

1) lock door with key in pocket

2) all 4 doors lock normally

3) walk to trunk with key in pockets, stand for more than 3 secs, nothing happens.

4) press the "button" on the trunk, it opens normally.

5) all door still lock

 

Case 2

1) Lock door with key in pocket

2) all 4 doors lock normally

3) keep car in the house, far away from the car. 

4) still can open truck via the "button" on the trunk.

5) all door still lock

 

This appear abnormal. Is there an 'on/off' option for smart trunk?

 

How should smart trunk really function?

I tried reconnect, same thing. use another cable, still same. Since the unit in the car is not connected to the internet, how does it know to become obsolete? Strange..

Yes. It's defaulted to off.. Need to play with the supervision cluster to on it.

It is 'on'  already and strange thing is the trunk can be open without the key when the car is locked. He can open the trunk without any key at all.

 

BTW, is the trunk supposed to pop up automatically with the feature 'on'?

The trunk can be open even the lock is locked as the key is within the sensor range. Hence, able to open even the door is lock. Believed when the door is locked, and the key is super far away (out of range) then won’t be able to open the truck.

Bro, read somewhere stated that if you just locked the door, within certain period of time (15 sec? 30sec?), the trunk won’t pop up when you stand at the rear of your car. But if your door had been locked for quite sometime, then the trunk would pop up when you stand at the rear of your car for 3 sec (provided you have enable the function). Hope it help.
