i took the basic model, with 5k discount, no free servicing, no lucky draw and they throw in the sport kits for me.

what about you?

You took the Elite for tier 3? Which color you took?

Not a bad deal. Kind of worry on the 17" rim for my end.

COE at 83K? coming soon, don't worry, hahaha

If 96K now with COE less 5K discount NETT 91K for basic model, correct?

Nett price after discount 5K is 91K correct? thanks

think should be 109 999 off 5k for tier 3 elite?

If i not wrong. Someone actually booked a S model elantra at $93++k before the 1st Oct bidding and got it the coe at $51k.(not so sure the buyer got it in how many bids)

As Hyundai is selling guaranteed coe at 95k plus for the S model which mean they expect to bid the coming 1st nov coe to $53k to 54k. If basic is selling 95k.i will definitely won't consider this car Liao. I rather top up a bit of my money on jazz, city, shuttle etc...

I don't really get what you are trying to say bro?

7 seater MPV cars are slowly losing their appeal. There's the X trail and the Outlander too, or the BMW 216 GT, and if you look for a management unit, they can be quite fun to drive too.

My in laws have a Corolla and it's quite good. Boring perhaps, but built to last. YMMV

I Typed too fast bro. Meant to say unwilling..

I tried 2gt but seats felt uncomfortable for longer drive in < an hr; too stiff for me, as seat pads r pretty thin.. N unsure any niggling issues may arise should I keep it beyond warranty period of 3yrs, wc relatively short compared to asian makes of 5yrs.

basic model at 15" rim with body kit.

i just need a B&B ride, i even forgo the body kit but SE offer the price with body kit so i just grab it.

basic model was at 97+ minus 5k (expo discount) and 2k (suppose to body kit) and no lucky draw, final price is at 90+

took Red color but wife still prefer metal color

S model at 93 is a good deal. wifey rather keep the 5k and go for basic model

Don't understand why kmc will promote basic trim match with bodykit mated with 15"rim.. may looks weird.. cash discount is better.

Your price is what SE offer me during october after first biding except bodykit.During that time,I think no bodykit for elantra yet.

I guess $90399 for basic elantra has a very high chances to secure the coe if coe price fall below $52k...

Of course many expected coe to rise for the coming Wednesday bidding exercise.

So now basic is about $90k with already discounted price and guaranteed coe? But think 1 month ago kmc offering 83k for basic and around 89k for S trim after discounted. It seems like pricing not say very great difference now?!

Actually it means the price has gone up: 83k +7k to secure the COE.

It shows that Hyundai knows that they need to boost their bid to match the other dealers..

i drove elantra during one of the holiday and wifey loves it.

however when i test drive after i booked it, the feel is diff. the steering wheel is lighter than expected. the rest is fine.

photo taken in expo.. but is S trim with bodykit.

Personally I feel the Elantra looks better as it is.

These go slower bit add cost, weight and cut FC... but hey YMMV... maybe that's why I feel the standard rims are fine, and adding 17" rims simply add more cost, weight and FC too..  [;)]

And of course, accelerative-performance too, if engine torque is already mediocre (read: 1.6 NA) to begin with.

The 0-100 timing will be impacted ... esp going from 15" to 17" or higher.

But S model is slightly lighter about Maybe that is the reason they put it on S instead of elite..

And i think more people going for the S model also.
