absolutely ... staff69 agrees ... lol

This is more ridiculous than deciding between 95 or 98 in SG. How much can you save by going Malaysia to put petrol? Have to queue to cross customs, pay the extra tolls.... if going in for other activities then it's alright but going in just for petrol is quite a waste.

Nowadays still need to floor accelerator to get more power? What underpowered car is that? :XD:

I feel some of you damn low self esteem. Whatever you want to pump is your choice, no need to come here to justify how much you pay for it.

For me I do not always pump V-power, it's just an occasional thing. What I will find is compromise that will suit my driving needs. You want to pump RON95 or 97 up north nobody really gives a rat's ass. I'm just here to share my experience, not to say worth it or waste money or what fxxk. You are entitled to your own experience and opinion what the fuel does to your car. I won't argue with that coz we do not drive the same car. But there's no need to suan siao others on what fuel they would want to use. Geez. Some ppl can be so immature. [rolleyes]

actually hor if your cra is by factory default (no tunning or whatsoever done), pump 92, 95 or 98 as you deem fit as long as manual recommended so.

but if you tune your car to accomdate to 98 in order to have more torque or Horse power, then i would said 98 would give you best bang for the desired power... of course you can pump 95 but then engine may have knocking or you are unable to obtain the power you seek for in the tunning....

The best way to know if 98 or 95 or Vpower can help or not, do a dyno test and you can see the outcome outrightly

Yea, I also realised I didn't mention clearly [smash]

If you pumped half tank, obviously the mileage won't be as good as you fill up full tank.

Because the fuel tank is like a funnel shape, if I am not wrong.

It is more narrow below. So if you compare:

Fill up full and use until half tank vs fill half tank use until light come out.. mileage quite different

No la, I always calculate until low fuel light... :)

How does vpower nitro stack against caltex techron? Just bought the techron concentrate plus from caltex on promo and engine is noticeably quieter and smoother, commented by my wife too. Maybe engine too old. But it's about 16 after disc so not sure which is more bang for buck. Anyone has tried both and can compare?

You going to add half a bottle of the Techron Concentrate Plus every tank.?

Actually cost wise, 16bucks of techron treats 45l of petrol and for 5000km as stated in the instructions.

It's about 35 cents per litre. As compared to 65 cents diff between 95 and vpower. But i guess they both work differently but just a note if one is deciding on vpower and techron for a one tank clean.

98 is good enough ald.

For TC cars better pump 98 and above to prevent ticking noise as well as better for the engine.

NA can pump 92/95

Tbh no difference between 98 or v power

Even for NA car 98 and 95 no diff too.

U use 95 ur fc better

I pump 98 for my 3.0L turbo... recommended base fuel quality is 95 according to Audi. I've never felt the need for V-power etc... except when I'm filling up north...

Maybe the higher RON fuels are more useful for performance cars...

Wah............

U have to save 10 yrs to buy Submariner.

With RON 95, are you sure floor accelerator got more power??

Submariner is FOC after 10 years. You hand over the death certificate of the car and get a free Submariner.

V-power in Malaysia is the best.

Cheap & powderful.

To restore power, no need this.

Juz buy from either Mobil/Esso.

Mobil 1 racing 2T. Use 100ml before any long drive.

It is more ex than Mobil 1 engine oil

Pardon me for my ignorance. New to this.

Add 2T with tank of petrol or into engine?

Yea 98 is enough for Audi

Maybe V power is only for R8 and S models to improve performance

Anyway,R8 & S models,even they put 95 or even remove 2 spark plugs also can win a B&B 1.6 NA car using V-Power.

Can put but not good for long term use. We own car not one day or two days but for years.
