Of course, I assume both car is fine for you. Yes bro.... both is fine and we prefer suv/crossover, that's the reason I use the 2 to "entice" her... overall we beieve vezel will have lower running cost, I think, but she can't get over PI.... Subaru safe and nice stable ride, but afraid high fc and maintenance cost.... Think she just playing trick with me?? She will tell me, see,but also good and bad... cannot make decisions..... then kiv..... kaoz... Any case, to update the latest.... after much persuasion to ask finance to visit the showroom of Subara and PI.... got the chance to test drive the XV and we like it.... but we worried about maintenance cost of Subaru(esp expensive spare parts??), so in the end, we decided on the Honda Vezel!!! At last, settle the ride and sign on dotted line. Waiting for Dec/Jan delivery.....

Mjklbkldl 1st Gear October 31, 2015 Share October 31, 2015 Actually, Subaru maintenance are commonly though to be more expensive. This is mainly due to the AWD and turbo. XV is NA, so that in itself is one point checked off. AWD - you will need to change the differential oil every 30,000km (experts please correct me if I am wrong). For AWD stability and safety, especially on NS highways/rainy conditions/Cameron-Genting roadtrips, this once a year cost is worth it IMHO. Re turbo. The main cost is higher wear and tear from the higher operating temperatures, but if a car is TC from the factory, most parts are built with higher tolerance. Just stay as close to stock as possible. A possible higher cost contribution from TC cars is the more frequent oil changes to keep the turbo healthy, as they rely on clean oil for optimal performance. Even then, its again a function of how the driver runs the vehicle. If WOT all the time, every 5,000km... In summary --- car ownership in Spore is expensive. Subaru is the same. There are some Subaru specialist workshops to take good care of them who are much better than Motor Image, and also cheaper.
