Unfortunately thinking is not Ed's forte, not sure he can manage to think at all, lest alone twice [nod] [nod] . He is likely to make the same mistake as that with Schweni. Cheap (no transfer fees this time) fees but sky high wages with very average (aka poor) performance.

 

Ibra frequently fails to perform when it matters, esp at big games. In his days, he was good to bully and scored plenty against weaker opponents. Maybe JM want him for that as he saw his failure specialist counterpart AW's team faltered last season mainly due to poor results against teams from bottom half.

so far the only talisman that has performed is Bale.

Hamsik for slovakia but he's not really a superstar level.

 

As opposed to Ibra for Sweden and Ronaldo for portugal.

I think hard to predict which team will have the protential to win

this tournament so far. Team like Ger, Ita, Spa, Fra are quite inconsistent.

We saw favorite Bel n Port frist match not play well. But it may show the true colour next match. Let see tonight.

If any of you feels zombified by now, you are not alone.  Nothing beats going for a mandatory horizontal body maintenance (aka sleep) for the whole day, before another week of Euros.

 

I really think having this many teams is not doing fans any favours.

 

Albania? Iceland? Austria? Northern Ireland?

 

Bring back the 16 teams format so we can watch quality games, and get more sleep!

 

edit: and I've yet to watch a single copa America game.

Bel show their true colour? I don't think so.

Is Ireland playing badly. Without seeing the score line on screen.

I though they are leading. 3 nil down still keep on passing the ball in their own half here and there. Midfielders totally no idea and creative.

Courtios was very free thoughout the night.

Yes, base on tonight performance. R Ireland also is the one of the team. But UEFA have their own thinking. Extra game extra income.
