Great thunderbolt for Belgium from that simi-Nolan chap !!! but due to a real silly unforced error from Joe Allen, gave the ball away cheaply in the middle of the park. jia lat, value dropped by 2m

poor marking or rather no marking, left Ashley alone .... think Belgium missed the injured Vertoghen

 

Wales really showing lots of spirit and pride !! 


Belgium seems to have switched off after their goal, allowing Wales to come at them

U on drugs? Swiss already out since last week.

We have a semi finalist which have not won a match in full time in this tournament yet :D

In 1982, Italy qualified for 2nd round of world cup, after drawing 3 games. Poland topped the group having won one. Italy n Cameroon had same points n goal difference and drawn all games. Italy progressed as they scored one more goal (also let in one more) than Cameroon.

 

Italy went on to win the cup...

A good first 45. Wales showed the way to play against bigger team with bigger names.

 

Hold and push the ball around to frustrate opponents while looking for that leak in defence.

 

Almost 100% hit rate finding their man in the box. Just need to polish up on the final touches.

 

Great reflective save from Coutois otherwise, the equaliser would have come earlier.

 

Great shot from Belgium number 4 from 30 yard out. Saw the space and just whack...

 

Prior to that, 3 rapid consecutive shots matched with 3 successful desperate blocks from the Welsh pack of defenders.

 

De bryune could have saved the goal if he didn't move away from the near post where Wales skipper directed the header towards the goal.

 

Will be a more cautious 2nd half.

Ramsay has been great all tournament.

 

But even wih Belgium first goal that goal by Kanu must be the best goal of the tournament  so far.

imo, Hazard & DeBruyne cannot co-exist. Belgium lack width and you see Hazard keep wanting to go through middle and cluster-fark 

 

clueless coach. Lukaku is like Benteke, a bit immobile. bring on Origi !!
