Xanavi 4th Gear September 1, 2016 Share September 1, 2016 Ordered the phone le, will arrive tmr After buying, my colleagues said alot of websites say the phone no good So far, hows the experience with it? Oh o..... So far so good (if you are referring the functionality, design and interface.) Especially when I can open tab (default browser) on background. The fault (bricked, constant reboot to me is manufacturing fault. So as long as Samsung is responsible to the product, im good. Throw in a few freebies and Ill be happier, (Free Gear 3 or a 50 percent voucher for next phone, Samsung, hint hint). If I want to complain, it will be the accuracy of the keyboard. So many years and they still can't catch up with rival (Apple) on the typing precision. On a bigger phone some more compare to Iphone 3GS which I used maby moons aoo. (See my point?) At least it didn't explode ð Good on Samsung in being proactive in recalling/checking about any issues. Same can't be said about Apple when it had similar issues a few generations back. Lucky it didnt explode in my pocket. Or else... ↡ Advertisement

Lala81 Hypersonic September 1, 2016 Share September 1, 2016 (edited) Typing accuracy. hmm i depend a lot on Swiftkey's autocorrecting lol. I don't really feel there's a difference in typing accuracy. Edited September 1, 2016 by Lala81
Xanavi 4th Gear September 1, 2016 Share September 1, 2016 (edited) hmm i depend a lot on Swiftkey's autocorrecting lol. I don't really feel there's a difference in typing accuracy. I normally use the default keyboard. For both apple and samsung. Really feels that apple is far more superior in terms of touch accuracy. Very prominent on key board, no auto correct And as i mentioned b4, i was comparing 3GS to Note 7 and yet 3GS wins hands down. While typing this messaage on a S7 edge, I already back spaced multiple times... sigh Edited September 1, 2016 by Xanavi
Nzy Twincharged September 1, 2016 Share September 1, 2016 Ordered the phone le, will arrive tmr After buying, my colleagues said alot of websites say the phone no good So far, hows the experience with it? Oh o..... If your phone doesn't have any problems, then its good. If you get one of those problematic sets then no good lo. For Sg sets, the main problem would be some phones are crashing and then bricking totally. Seems to affect the exynos Note 7 which is what we are getting. If you don't get this problem then the phone is good. The battery exploding problem doesn't seem to affect SG sets since they are manufactured in different countries and apparently, our batteries are MIC while those that got problems are supplied by Samsung. So far so good (if you are referring the functionality, design and interface.) Especially when I can open tab (default browser) on background. For me, I use my Note 7 more than my 6s+ so my typing is better on Note 7 than 6s+.

Vratenza Supersonic September 1, 2016 Share September 1, 2016 i hated swiftkey's autocorrecting function...in fact, all forms of autocorrect. Their hit rate in predicting what I want to express is probably 50% of the time and for the other 50% of the time, I am left frustrated, end up spending more time and effort to correct the autocorrect. But I do like swiftkey's all other functions, so one of those apps I will not hesitate to click buy in play store. hmm i depend a lot on Swiftkey's autocorrecting lol. So i tend to fair poorly if no autocorrect. Yes it's really irritating especially when your tendency is to press spacebar once u finished typing without having selected the options on top. erm what other functions does swiftkey have except autocorrect and predictive text? Vratenza Supersonic September 2, 2016 Share September 2, 2016 Cannot remember the term but you drag your finger from letters to letters without lifting and it will give you their best guess on the word you want to type. That one is about 98% accurate for me... and much faster once you get used to it. Nice to use if you are using your phone bare screen or using tempered glass SP because the glide function works best on a smooth screen surface. you can try it. my hand eye coordination is not the best. Kangadrool Supersonic September 2, 2016 Share September 2, 2016 (edited) I am amazed by iPhone SE 4-inch typing accuracy over my current 6-inch screen. Bigger doesn't always mean better. It's easier to type on my Lumia 920 (4.5 inchish) versus Lumia 1520 (6-inch). I am comparing apple-to-apple - typing by poking, not swiping. agree for the keyboard and typing, iPhone is the best you can download Microsoft keyboard, works amazingly well for Android and iOS. However, they screwed up for their own OS. Was worse after OS updates. Yes, just drag your fingers over the keyboard and it's eerily accurate.
