flashbang Turbocharged November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 Let's hope CnC is not out to gouge obscene profits from this model ... A bit hard to price this model. Performance is there but brand name is still a question mark. Plus korean cars FC a bit worse than their japanese and conti counterparts.
Banz86 5th Gear November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 A bit hard to price this model. Performance is there but brand name is still a question mark. Plus korean cars FC a bit worse than their japanese and conti counterparts. That's true. My Kia Cerato Forte FC is worse than my Sis's BF BMW 316. Some more it's much much more responsive. Vinceng Turbocharged November 7, 2017 Share November 7, 2017 Pricing wise, what I hear from internal sources within the authorised distributor of the Kia Stinger is : 1) Stinger 2.0 - $150,000 2) Stinger 3.3 - $200,000 *Prices are inclusive of COE

Vratenza Supersonic November 8, 2017 Share November 8, 2017 not including CEVs I assume. Vratenza Supersonic November 8, 2017 Share November 8, 2017 reference this: http://www.mycarforum.com/blog/12/entry-5094-subaru-wrx-sti-production-to-end-as-final-edition-announced/ Maybe they meant STI version only and not the whole WRX series? teomingern Supercharged November 8, 2017 Share November 8, 2017 I was referring to this review... seems like it's for general sale... didn't read if it was going to be terminated... https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2018-subaru-wrx-sti-in-depth-model-review
Vratenza Supersonic November 8, 2017 Share November 8, 2017 USA nomenclature: 2018 model means selling now in 2017. The one in the caranddriver article is just a refreshed current gen. I think beyond this gen, they are killing it off just like what they did to the Evo X. Toeknee_33 Turbocharged November 9, 2017 Share November 9, 2017 will get a wrx instead for that price I don't think Stinger and WRX/STi will be cross-shopped by potential buyers lah. The Sube competes in the Focus RS/Golf R/CTR hot hatch arena, while the Stinger is more refined and upmarket, and chases after A5 Sportback and BMW 4-series, at far lower prices. Interestingly, Stinger's century sprint is faster than STi despite the lack of 4WD.
Beehive3783 Twincharged November 9, 2017 Share November 9, 2017 Stinger is 3.3L V6 twin turbo. STI's 2.5L turbo got no chance in a century sprint. Of course there is the 2L turbo version as well but that won't stand a chance against the STI. I don't think Stinger and WRX/STi will be cross-shopped by potential buyers lah. Beehive3783 Twincharged November 9, 2017 Share November 9, 2017 You forgot BMW is also much much more expensive? And also, Korean cars are heavier compared to Japanese cars, which results in good high speed stability. That's true. My Kia Cerato Forte FC is worse than my Sis's BF BMW 316.
