Well, at least C&C has the balls to bring in the Stinger.

Komoco didn't have balls to bring in the Genesis Coupe after RHD production started for the Aussie market.

One got balls the other astiut..

well they price it as per other japanese and German makes. but alas in our local context, KIA is still perceived as a lower tier. which is why for 2.0 larger sedans which is no longer considered bread and butter, many would rather buy German or higher end Japanese.

i would think KIA stinger's 2.0 competitor is the Q50. Q50 is 150K. +5k and it probably still can move. any more will be tough.

Twincharged

I guess in SG Kia and Hyundai still got a long way to go since most Singaporeans look at the badge before anything else.

Saw a white stinger on the roads today. They are out in the wild?

I just went to C&C @ Ubi today. The SE told me that Stingers have not passed LTA tests yet, so should not be on the roads yet, unless the one u saw was a LTA test car?

Pricing wise, I was told ~$180k for the 2.0T and $230k for the 3.3T! Seems like prices are increasingly even b4 C&C start selling.

That's nuts. In no other country is the 2.0 selling at a 15% premium to the Sorento.

Let's see where it eventually comes out at.

More importantly, we need to see the pricing relativities with the post VES base A4, C class, 3 series and Q50.
