KIA Stinger GT

That's nuts. In no other country is the 2.0 selling at a 15% premium to the Sorento.

Let's see where it eventually comes out at.

More importantly, we need to see the pricing relativities with the post VES base A4, C class, 3 series and Q50.

Pricing quite high for a Kia. Granted they have improved a lot, but probably even Hyundai has slightly better branding than Kia.

Very few man-on-the-street understand the fuss about a good-handling RWD sedan, and this car looks relatively similar to the Optima K5 in most of the angles, which has been tainted as a "taxi".

No brainer to go for Infiniti Q50, which is really very very well-made, equipped and luxurious for a lower price.

I just went to C&C @ Ubi today. The SE told me that Stingers have not passed LTA tests yet, so should not be on the roads yet, unless the one u saw was a LTA test car?

Pricing wise, I was told ~$180k for the 2.0T and $230k for the 3.3T! Seems like prices are increasingly even b4 C&C start selling.

Not a direct competitor, but can get an M140i for $230k.

Hahahahaha...

All this, even before the car is in the showroom.

KIA has been so successful in executing their "create emotion" plan.

Surely C&C/KIA-SG will be guided by the ground sentiments to price and get best results from real demand.

Ground rules.. taxes, ERP, parking, etc can & probably will change.

Yeah, C&C succeeded in creating emotions alright.

"Excitement, Anticipation and Disappointment" :a-no:

To be more specific, KIA created excitement and Anticipation.

C&C only created Disappointment.

let hope they have the power to suprise with a good price advantage with the next door neighbour Skoda superb also launching a 280bhp with 4wd.

Just not sure if LTA will put a tick in the box by the time the stinger is for sale

Direct comparison between Stinger and Q50. The Stinger beats the Q50 in almost everything and when you look at both cars parked side by side, the Stinger looks way way better then the Q50. The Stinger is obviously longer overall, longer wheelbase, wider and the shape is so much more sportier and sleeker. How can the Stinger look like a K5 taxi???

Side by side, the Stinger makes the Q50 look like an old man's car. See for yourself in this comparison video....
