Either Harrier drivers are all in hiding or this car is like most Toyota cars: reliable and just gets the job done.

If you see the number of issues surfaced in other threads you will really appreciate the cars discussed in quiet threads like this..

The new price is really impressive

No manual paddles and no auto tailgate for the base model but itâs otherwise very complete.

Harrier only got 2 issue for pi earlier batch

Torque converter or battery flat lol

Harrier vs forester? Which is your choice?

Hi Roger,

Non turbo harrier is out ....  between turbo harrier and forester xt is indeed tough choice ....

If somebody chopped my brain and hands out and only only allow me to compare stock-stock, it will be harrier turbo.

When modded, forester xt  will be my choice on roadholding, handling, AWD surety on wet roads and the kick down but yet with acceptable aesthetic mods to my individual taste I guess... if forester xt is current 2019 SK version, I will give up since it is big and longish MPV looking SUV that I do not know how to be fixed aesthetically to look otherwise.

I am not referring yet on engine performance mods for forester xt which is not needed to better the harrier turbo ...  something I had not ventured into yet.  If modded just via ECU reflash, harrier no chance especially on how the forester xt handles the oncoming white lines   .... but then again, also not fair to non-towkay harrier turbo owners who wish to mod since limited as compared to finer detailed mods like damper, reinforcement plate etc, just for steering performance alone for the forester.

Hope none offended but yymv as usual since subjective experience, expectation and wishes but suffice to say I am a 56 yr old man albeit with past sedate rides of estima, odyssey, E200 etc. ...

Cheers,

Richard

Alternator replacement. Toyota harrier parallel imported. The genuine part number.

27060-37180 Denso oem

With engine running, Check battery voltage <13.2v alternator may need replacement.

Can try amaron

Battery life for harrier about 1-2 yrs nia

Thank you so much. I am currently using amaron, so wondering why it died so fast. I do have in car cam and don't drive long distance, but 1.5 years seem short.

Wow, it lasted so long? Impressive man...

Your modern car has a lot of stuff which can drain the battery... do you switch off the engine then adjust your memory seats for example?

Listen to the radio? Take more than a few minutes before you get out of the car? All that power comes from your battery bro...

Radio yes.

As for adjustig seat, rarely as I am the only one driving. But I do charge my phone and there is 24h in-car cam.

For toyota harrier, min is 60ah? What if one were to get 45ah battery or 65ah battery. How will it affect the car?

Thank you!!

Get a bigger one, never smaller..

Also the steering wheel moves out of the way each time you enter? That also uses battery power if the car ignition isn't on..

Don't scrimp on the battery, cheers.
