Any experts know what's the problem with the harrier rear aircon air flow?

It suddenly become very small and weak ac air flow despite set to max.

How to fix it and also prevent it from re-ocurring again?

PI harrier?  looks like a heater issue.  needs to go to workshop and reset.

Reset? The ECU you mean? So troublesome. Okay...we cannot do it ourselves?

Saw some owners disconnect out the battery. Some works some don't. From what I remember. Go to the harrier workshop ask them to reset. It's a common problem.

Haven't heard this issue on Borneo Harrier

Harrier pi 2016 onward and harrier turbo should be no prob.

To me either u want badge or u want ride that suits u. To me harrier is better since its more comfy and more spacious compared to glc

Hi Thai,

According to appointed service center of one of the biggest PI if not thr biggest, no change in the torque converter.

Bo bian and may be smoke cos workshop refused to replace with latest and advised same same ... only serviced and had to pay trans oil etc. at sgd400. Some much for warranty of PI ... and another PI bro here shared exact same issue and payment :(

Anyway, BM turbo harrier is a no brainer choice and wonder who still buys from PI of a much inferior non turbo charged one .. lol !

Cheers.

Richard

PS: guess I am right .. many harriers but the thread here quite quiet .. towkay owners no time and/or little car enthusiat owners

So much for the warranty of PI. However some ADs are no better too.

Alas this is singapore, the 3C’s of warranty applies.

Toyota threads tend to be pretty quiet.. and that's how they like it..

No mods, no problems, no fuss.

:)

Hi therock,

Haha .. perhaps but unlikely ... harriers from PI have some of the nicest body kits around which is plug n play for harrier 2017 and many BBK/rims for known less-than-ideal braking performance of toyota etc.

Many towkays owning harriers is probably a more plausible reason as previously mentioned.

Cheers,

Richard

Yep, it's all about statistics.

You can even find mod kits and go slower spoilers for vans.
But the majority of Harrier buyers aren't in that mod group..

Wow, is this the new 2019 version?

I wonder how did they managed to lower their omv or cost base to keep the price low? Or did they import from Malaysia?

I am pretty sure the ves tax will still be there..

An alternative that won’t last long since they are stopping production of the turbo worldwide..

Hi therock,

Oh no .. no more turbo foresters but only naturally aspired 2.0l to be followed by 2.0l hybrid (2.5l for key usa market is not planned) for the new 2019 platform "sk" version that is rumoured only available in Singapore from Nov or Dec 2018 for the 2.0l after the launch last month in Taiwan and Philippines by Motor Image:

Taiwan review of new forester. 30 mins in chinese language.

This shared info is on current turbo charged forester sj version.

The lowest tier harrier is going for around 138k? If one can afford the delta, it’s still a better choice IMHO..

What's Delta bro?

242am still up? Jet lag?  [:p]

Statistical term la:

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110129135616AAKKfSU

" The Δ is used in this context to symbolize "change in". So Δy would indicate the difference between two y-values. For example, if two y numbers are given as y1 = 3 and y2 = 7, the change is 4 and we can write the short hand "

Or nett difference in short..

Hi therock,

Harrier turbo elegence from BM going for 138k ? Indeed a tough choice before fxt dropped from 138k last month to current 125k.

Fortunately, back in Sep 2017 at 145k vs same 125k for the forester turbo fxt, it was a no brainer after repeated test drives to take back deposit for the harrier turbo to get the fxt.

Cheers.
