I have silimiar experience but just the the buzzer and the word brake (haven’t or din brake) but enough to scare you when the road is clear.. And now the auto start stop on my car I Donno due to they way me and my partner drive or bug or something. now it doesn’t cut of the engine even when at a long standstill. the following for ASG condition ↡ Advertisement

cody7k 1st Gear September 18, 2018 Share September 18, 2018 Roger! Until ur enlightenment, I was still wondering wat it is for. But I've to say it's useful for tight parallel parking.. Haha..That being said, does thsoe with Kenwood player installed able to turn on the front or side camera under Low speed? Those with SDA would just press the button and would show front and side camera and at this left or right camera with front camera depending on the steering. It was an awesome feature for Singapore with such tight parking spot and coming from a hatchback the following for ASG conditionWow wow nice information well looking at that list at least half or more unable to clarify on a day to day drive... Also on a side note I found this selling on Carousell driving a white EC selling some interesting accessories for those interested. http://carousell.com/myhiddenstuff/
Jus4fun 1st Gear September 20, 2018 Share September 20, 2018 Was thrilling (n vice versa) a red EC (SMD2XX6L) for quite a distance along PIE (Changi) until we exited Loyang. If u r in this thread, hi bro!
Galapogos Clutched September 20, 2018 Share September 20, 2018 Just wondering, what petrol is everyone using for the EC? Is 95 enough? Also, any recommendations of online car accessories shops to buy stuff like wide rear view mirrors?

cody7k 1st Gear September 20, 2018 Share September 20, 2018 (edited) Just wondering, what petrol is everyone using for the EC? Is 95 enough? Also, any recommendations of online car accessories shops to buy stuff like wide rear view mirrors? Recommended is 95 so it’s fine.. I pump with 95 no issue unless you are pumping across the border then they suggest you pump the best there is there. That being said from past experiences pumping a better petrol usually made the engine response better and very minimal mileage improvement (but the extra prices doesn’t cover the increase in mileage) Edited September 20, 2018 by cody7k

Contipro 5th Gear September 23, 2018 Share September 23, 2018 (edited) have some time now to share my last week driving experience to Genting Highland. as shared earlier the EC FC is not the best. based on actual refilled up to full tank method, load: 2 adult, 1 big size luggage, 1 backpack bag first half journey johor->ampang refilled to full tank at kulai shell on nswh, next refilled to full tank at shell before entering karak highway leading to genting highland. journey ~300km 70% highway 130~140km/hr (occasionally acceleration up to 150 km/hr) 20% highway 110~120km/hr 10% city with traffic actual fuel consumption calculated = ~11.9 km/L second half journey ampang->genting highland (include uphill & downhill)->johor refilled to full tank at shell near pelangi johor. journey ~422km 5% uphill 5% downhill 10% city with traffic 60% highway 120~130km/hr (occasionally acceleration up to 140 km/hr) 20% highway 110~120km/hr actual fuel consumption calculated= ~11.0 km/L hope potential EC buyer do take note if fc is one of your major consideration. ====================== engine rpm 140km/hr @ ~2800rpm 120km/hr @ ~2200rpm ====================== turbo charged engine with high torque at low rpm does help during uphill. it seem ECU manage it ~3000rpm, and CVT played with its infinite ratio the uphill was tackle with ease. Does not feel the loss of torque like previous 1.6 NA engine with convention gearbox when it shifting to next gear during the uphill task. as for downhill you will appreciate the paddle shift, i used engine braking method by downshifting + brake assist. Being the CVT with controlled 8 speed ratio, the each ratio steps are narrower. That translate on each downshifting you feel less sudden slow down surge, instead it feel more smooth slow down by engine braking with rpm managed in region 3000~3500rpm. above my experience and observation for your info.. thanks! Great information, meaning it is very close to of my old Latio or any 1.5/.5 litre sedan without turbo. Then again Mitsubishi is not known for fuel efficiency i guess its a pro and con as it is easiest only of the quicker SUV around. That being said i curious do you have ECO mode on?
