Even the ECs I saw on the roads recently are mostly white.

 

White has special discounts? [laugh]

I saw one EC the other day, not white le. But so far i have only spotted one EC. Lol.

Your 2.5 months wait probably is slightly longer than the usual 2 months. Wonder is it because of the sunroof version. @miketiew is lucky to get his ride so soon.

I just checked. I booked it on 20 May, received 10 Sep, so it's 3.5 months. My agent tells me it's coz it's the Sports version and not Elegance version, and also my choice of Red colour, hence the wait.

 

On a separate note, when I was driving yesterday, I kept hearing 2 beeps coming from around the centre console area. It happens frequently about once every minute. It's not the same beep as when seat belts are not engaged. Does anyone know what it could be?

On a separate note, when I was driving yesterday, I kept hearing 2 beeps coming from around the centre console area. It happens frequently about once every minute. It's not the same beep as when seat belts are not engaged. Does anyone know what it could be?

does it happen when you go over bump ?

Where you guys book your ride? Wonder will it make a difference from the delivery. I booked mine at UBI

Sometimes. At first I thought it might be due to that, since I encounter something similar when driving a Toyota Corolla, but then I noticed the double beep also happens when the car is perfectly steady and stable.

Maybe they've ready stock, that's why you got it so fast. I booked mine at Alexandra, guess got to wait like the others.

The 2 beeps is from ur camera. Any sudden movement from the car would result ur cam in taking shot videos about 15 sec.

Congrats on your new ride! I just booked the SR Sport and was told car will be ready in Nov.

Hi all , anyone encounter “BRAKE “warning alert while during along Higway w/o any obstruction infront . A bit scary ... I got thrice auto brake activation and my EC jammed just before carpark gantry barrier .

I kena once the day after I collected my car, but the car didn't jam brake, I just saw the BRAKE warning on my HUD. There wasn't even anything in front of my car.

Did you set your FCM to near? Happened to me at the gantry so now I wait for the gantry to fully open before driving in/out. Also then going over a steep hill/bump it beeps for like a quick sec..

Guess the system isn’t prefect.

 

And it puzzled me that the car don’t have auto lock (lock the door when driving above certain speed)

 

And not having lane assist and blind spot monitor at this price range...

That being said it’s a fun and unique looking car to drive

Noted . So it’s the inbuilt system I guess ... already set at fcm at near .

 

I think EC does not have auto lock when driving . Maybe outside shop should be able to do it .

 

Agree it’s fun driving the car

Thanks for sharing ð enjoy the ride .....

Haha it does have auto unlock when car is put into “P” or (couldn’t remember the other I think handbrake on) can be set on the SDA.

 

Also is it just me or when playing song from phone (either android or CarPlay) its rather soft..

I read somewhere in this forum that you can actually switch off the FCM by pressing and holding on the FCM button till the off sign come off. Not sure if it is true as I have yet to collect my EC hence no chance to try out yet.

 

I do agree that the EC should come with blind spot detection system. Hopefully we can install the system in the future.
