Hi guys! My COE is expiring 8 July 2018. COE just dropped 9k, how much to expect decrease in PQP? Based on onemotoring now, I have to pay $37,165 to renew for the month of July.

 

So can I wait for August PQP? Thanks in advance!

You can't wait for August PQP since your car COE expired on 8th July.

No you can't. August PQP will wait after the 2nd round of COE this month. By then, you car already long expired.

Latest renewal is within 1 month after COE expires isn't it? Just have to pay late renewal fee right?

Even if you are late in payment, you still have to follow and pay the July PQP, plus $100 late fee.

Yes, you simply cannot win. renew faster in case the internet banking got problems. What car you are renewing can share?

Subjective to July second bidding results, if increase by 1000 you should looking at 33080 PQP

Today, I've just renewed my COE for 10 years.

Will share with u the process I went thru.

 

1. Increase the daily limit for bank transaction (Done on 22/4 via ibanking)

2. Renew insurance (Done on 23/4 via insurance agent thru emails)

3. Renew COE (Done on 24/4 via onemotoring-asset owner)

4. Renew road tax (Done on 24/4 via onemotoring)

Road tax is always with date of 1st registration, unless layup before or OPC converted cases.

Mine ended 4 July. Renewed using July 2018 PQP. No eye see the new PQP. 

But mine is Cat B.

Ya not much difference since u Cat B, for me I think can save up to 5k if Renew PQP in Aug. Argh..

For on-line payment what modes available?

 

 

For on-line COE renewal, the determinant is your internet banking. Some banks have lower limit on $$ transfer, so if the PQP is too big amount, the bank might not allow it to go through.

 

I know stanchart can transfer big amount.

 

But since now COE dropped, PQP also not high liao, so maybe most banks can...

I am caveman.No internet banking.

I queue 1.5 hours in UOB to buy casher's order and next day, queue half hour in LTA in SinMing to pay.

 

Nice experience.
