Thks for the info! I doubt if PML will offer a tuning package but who knows cos I feel it would be underpowered but then again BMW never fails to amaze me. Last time before I bought the 216d, I wrote it off as being underpowered based on paper specs but when I test drove, it changed my perception n the rest is history.

Not to be mistaken, I'm not saying the 216d is a world beater but as I posted before, its more than adequate for our roads n mind u it's an MPV afterall.

I totally agreed the pick up is more than adequate for sg road. However I also find the car a bit bumpy. Anyone feel that way too?

It does have a firmer than usual ride if that is what u mean. Think partly is cos its tuned this way n also the RFT tyres don't help matters. Some guys who changed to normal tyres commented the ride was more comfortable after the change.

The feel was less bumpy on eco mode as compared to Comfort. Not too sure why.

Yeah firm ride especially so when the road is uneven. Guses has to live with it. Coming from a ex owner of Nissan sylphy 1.8 for 4 years the car was super comfortable.

Hi All, I'm lookin into buying 216Diesel AT. But they do not have the color I wanted. SE suggest I buy first then go do a color wrap outside. Should I? Else I have to wait until next year, and it will be a price increase of $10-15k extra

Since he's suggesting it and want you to close the deal with him - tell him to finance the car wrap then - as that would cost around 1-1.5k depending on type of colour/paper and workshop that you go to.

BMW mostly bumpy, it is BMW's core business........ it's pure physics, you want good handling yet don't want to feel the bumps, how can?  :D

you may take a look of pml management units selling on ppsl-pml.

quite attractive prices and often several units on sale. last time i checked around and saw the offered units were only on 3k+ mileage
