Diesel actually drives really well. Max torque of 430Nm activated at 1750 rpm.

So just press down a little harder on the accerlator pedal and you feel the car surge and rush forward. Within seconds and traffic is far behind.

 

Have been driving for a week. It takes more discipline Not to exceed the speed limit.

How is the actual selling price for this? Might consider downsizing to this if the price is decent and their trade in price good.

Probably get a few k lower than advertised price but not much more. Should just call n ask the AD. Wearnes trade in price not really any good.

But XE diesel OMV is 44,844. Thats higher than most cars in its class but still lower selling price.

nope.. it is quiet... even the old XF diesel. inside can't really hear the engine sound

How do you bargain below listed price of 159999? Jaguar trade in value really bad.around 4 to 6k lower than bmw and Mercedes

Not noisy at all. I don't have a heavy foot and really enjoy the comfy ride. But when I need to overtake. Punch it... u get a nice smooth roar and an old fashioned turbo kick... actually sounds good

Don't think u can bargain much.

But Jaguar can deliver within weeks for ex-stock. They hv a 4 bid guarantee. Merc C180 currently has a 6 month waiting period and 6 bid Non-guarantee. 6 months later...mmmm..COE price...

Read in other threads that Jaguar have event cars recently. Anyone knows of any info?

I think only XJ from $309k onwards. Should be 2.0 SWB.

Event car promotion for XE was available in early Feb. Think its stopped.

Oh yeah. You're right. I just saw Jaguar Facebook. XJ is official car for HSBC Women chiampionship.

I just saw their fb, at 299k now. Last year the same event it was selling 288 or 289k with higher coe.

 

Is it cause this is the new facelift?

Because this XJ they are selling is the facelifted model. Hence higher price.

Cool! Saw a white one on the road today. Sharp looking however the side profile looks very similar to my 3series. Find some time this wkend go test the 2.0d and some other cars

Promo @ $159,999. Some OCBC promo for OCBC customers interest at 2.48% hahaha.

This is pretty good deal considering it was priced at this as well after the Cat B dip to $38K. After it rebounded back to $46K, they didn't alter the price.
