Was never able to find one in good nick... Tested a 318IS manual while car hunting, and it was smoking at the end of the short drive 

Got an IS200 and F22 to scratch the itch...

Not being from SG, please forgive my ignorance. How do your rules work for classic cars? If you want to keep a car that is more than 10 years old, what happens?

You will need to pay GBP25,000 to extend the life of the car, to use for another 10 years.

At the 20th year, you continue to pay again to extend the life for another 10 years.

You should invite Boris to S'pore to learn a trick or two from this money spinner. 😁

I'm guessing that classic cars get sold and / or re-exported from Singapore at roughly ten-year intervals! £2500 a year to own a classic is steep... most of my (non-classic) cars didn't cost that much!

Yes.

But nobody is forcing you to importing a old porsche if you dont exactly like it. There are often classics with parf of less tham $5000, in which that the ARF is just $5000.

Import tax is just RF ($220) and exciss duty is 20%
