Looking at this analysis, sloppy passes seems to be a thing for MU. It is their sloppy passes to led to goals against Liverpool. Wonder what is wrong.

Also Progba is a liability.

Chelsea will win the PL this year!

Tuchel always copy Klopp.

Klopp manage Mainz, Tuchel manage Mainz

Klopp manage Dortmund, Tuchel manage Dormund

Klopp manage in England, Tuchel manage in England

Klopp win Champions League, Tuchel win Champions League

The next year Klopp win Premier League, Tuchel win Premier League

:D

Utd came in second last season

The secret to Utd success is

park the bus hit teams on the break.

I can see Utd beating City that way.

Whilst Chelsea has pulled 3 pts clear of Pool n 5 pts clear of City, it’s only 10 games into the season so with 28 games left, alot can n will happen.

Ironically, after 25mins it looked like Pool will be the new leaders as they coasting with 2 goals in the bag whilst Chelsea were struggling to break down Toon. City were also a goal down early on n then had a man down near half time.

Football being football, turned everything on its head with Brighton fighting back n Chelsea finally finding a way past Toon goalie after more than an hour of trying.

Midweek sees UCL, UEL n ECL games n then there will be another round of EPL games before another International break. Match of next weekend is the Mancs derby at Old Trafford with an early Saturday k/o 830pm (clocks are adjusted from today onwards).

i dun think chelsea gonna score any goals till they make the sub. ziyech was crossing and floating those usless ball to no 1. the rest keep passing around newcastle players.

2nd half hudson become more direct which he should do long ago, he got the skills to take on any players 1 v 1, hope barkley will stay and get more game time, he is more useful then kante when we need to break down stubbon defs.

i watch the man u game also. thought ole back 3 gonna backfire, spurs got some real good early chance, miss from son and close offside call. after that spurs totally went missing.

with cr7 and carvani, the man u team just need to feed them. forgot about breeding youth like greenwood if they want result.

Yup, it's also a back 5 with McFred in defensive duties. Why, even Cavani tracked back in defence and sustained a knock at his goal line before being subbed and this tactical play resulted in Spurs not getting any attempts at goal for this match.

actually back 5 is when they def.

when they attack its back 2 or 3 with both wingback joining

formation is very flexible. all top coach let the team change the shape with or without the ball.

start as 3.4.3 when attack become 2, 3, 5, when defending drop to 5.4.1.

every player from defender to attacker must be involve in defending and attacking in a top team.

nov games will judge if this changes let ole stay in his job

That's how Ole plugged this midfield defence problem as it was porus in the Pool 5-0 game, which allowed them to run amok through the mid. With this tactical formation and having the forwards tracking back to assist, it also helped in having Varane back as the defence maestro.

Most teams who play back 3 will hv 2 holding MF. Chelsea also same n it’s not park the bus. Conte loves this formation n it does give solidity but u must hv good wingbacks for this system to succeed. Shaw is ok but I’m not sure if Wan Bissaka is cut out for this role.

England has also used this formation on occasions quite successfully as they hv 2 good holding MFs in Rice n Philips with TAA n Shaw being good WBs. This system also protects the last man if he is not particularly quick but he needs to read the game well. Silva at Chelsea is a prime example of this being well past mid 30s.

Think this system may suit United n it will certainly be put to the test next Saturday against City. Cavani is really a hard worker n he shld be partnering CR7 but their ages add up to around 70yrs!

I believe Ziyech days at Chelsea are numbered. He is not a bad player but perhaps his style is unsuitable for Chelsea’s system. He will not hv shortage of suitors I’m sure.

Besides Loftus Cheek coming back to form, Connor Gallagher on loan at Palace has been getting good reviews n I believe Chelsea will get him back for next season hence my feel that Ziyech will be sold. Barkley is too inconsistent which could be cos he is in n out of the team n as such, I also feel he too will go.

Yes, very industrious and apparent whenever he comes on, macham super-sub for him to prove his experience and be a contender with Ronaldo upfront (at the expense of Greenwood, Rashford, Sancho and even Pogba) and as Spring mentioned, that AWB be a better wing feeder to them with long / high balls as both are also good with headers.
