Is Conte tiki taka?

Is Conte beautiful attacking football of Ossie Ardiles and Ricardo Villa?

Or is Conte Italian defensive football.

:D

Will Spurs be happy getting Jose with wingbacks?

I really don't see how a combative manager like Conte can work at Spurs. How will be his relationship with club owner Daniel Levy?

Conte can probably maintain Spurs to challenge for the top four position. But to get Spurs to the level where the club can challenge for titles is beyond 18 month. Levy thinks the current squad is better than Man City/Liverpool/Chelsea and a top manager is all that is needed?

Ya. Spurs first 11 is quite decent.  But they lack depth.

It will be a good achievement  conte can get them into top 4 this season

Jose is anti football and Levy gave him a lot of money.

Poch is attacking football and Levy refused to give him money.

:D

Spurs actually spend quite a decent amount on transfer during posh time. Not as big as those  top 4 clubs.

But its not like they never spend

After the Spurs final with Liverpool Levy refused to strengthen.

If he did maybe Spurs top 4 now.

And to get Jose and give him the money instead of Poch is why Spurs are where they are now!

:D

If Poch beat Liverpool maybe he still at Spurs now and Kane don't want to go.

In 1986 a girl told me why she like Spurs and not Liverpool.

She said Liverpool is like a machine and mechanical.

Spurs are exciting, creative flair football of Ricardo Villa and Ossie Ardiles.

:D

This girl know more about Spurs than Daniel Levy.

Spurs motto is To do is to dare.

Not park the bus!

By getting Conte in as coach, I think Levy and ENIC has a shift in mentality in spending monies as concerned. Sure. ENIC treats spurs as a business. They nuture this business to be worth many times more than when they bought them.

Investing in players unfortunately falls short of most of the top 6 teams. But the shining light would be the stadium. If it works, this is a cash-cow and ENIC capitalized on it by linking up with NFL, etc. Though the model will be more successful had they achieve CL regularly.

Anyway, Spurs pay their players well, like all EPL teams. Its just that, most of the top 6 pays much more. Hee.

And thus as a relative comparison, Kane on 200k vs Ozil on 600k, vs Abang 250k, vs Lukak 300k, vs Cavani 250k, vs Pogba 300k sacho 300k. etc.

Well, Spurs players kena f**k for not giving their best. Right. Coz in their heart, Dier on 70k vs Ake 100k.

Anyway, I tink, Spurs would be breaking their conservative mould by getting Conte in. Time will tell, but COYS.... Lets see hows the shake up

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek would undergo a dramatic transformation in his fortunes if he moved to Everton, one pundit has claimed.

The 24-year-old is facing increased uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford following a tough start to the season. He has only played 141 minutes this term, spanning only three games.

Newcastle United appear to be having trouble landing Unai Emery – and their backup target Eddie Howe is now wanted by Norwich City.

:D

Nuno for Newcastle

He will buy Matthijs de Ligt, Stefan de Vrij, Marcelo Brozovic, Alessio Romagnoli, Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Chiesa.

And his favourite Adama

I also don’t see how it can work but football being football, stranger things have happened. Conte is a very demanding albeit good Mgr with a winning mentality. Spurs/Levy are tight fisted, how to work?

But bro @Spurman feels there will be a change in mentality. For his sake, I hope he is right as otherwise this marriage between Conte n Spurs will end in divorce if both are adamant with their ways. Conte is not stupid, his track record is on the line so I’m sure he must hv gotten some commitment from Levy otherwise he wouldn’t hv taken the job. Let’s see as time will tell starting with January transfer window.
