So she fantisized up a sex-crime story and then made false accusations against the police.
What's her motive for that? To fake sympathy so as to gain political points in her support group. :l

We don't know the contents of what she has typed out so perhaps we can't jump the gun. 

I have seen more disparaging remarks on worker party's Facebook page and they are still there so i don't think they are out to censor relevant posts, even if they are negative. This person could be out to seek trouble with WP and may have a history of doing so and the posts may contain falsehoods for all we know.

It could also be that she is still relatively young and with all the limelight, sometimes the feel of power is so overwhelming that made her said incoherent things. She might said those things to purposely cause infuriation to the PAP but she remained defiant to show the public that she can stand up to the PAP.

Sometimes when a person achieves fame and prominence too young, he/she loses the sense of humbleness, prudence and discretion.

This is so true, and she's being a MP she really need to up her game.. if not I think she will be kicked out soon..

Up what game lar, the only honourable thing to do now is to resign!

"The powers of Parliament to act against an MP who engages in "dishonourable conduct, abuse of privilege or contempt" are laid out in Section 20 of the Parliament (Privileges, Immunities and Powers) Act. 

According to the Act, Parliament may commit the MP to prison for a term not extending beyond the current session of Parliament, impose a fine not exceeding S$50,000, or suspend the MP from Parliament for the remainder of the current session or for any part."

 

So far past offenders were just fined. 

Imo the MP has lost her credibility. Image stained.

Yes, doesn't matter PAP,  WP SDP or PSP when elected meant MP is a representative of people who voted or did not vote.... Do their best to address issues from common people.

These people usually do not know their bad situation need to be referred to a specific organisation..... 

MP/RC should be there to point them to the right place.

Mindful of what she say in public, especially when she speak in parliament lor. Cannot be I hear this, hear that and say out in parliament, or remember 80% of the information and assume the rest 20% is true and then say out in parliament.

 

These are no go, and if she continue to do that, confirmed will drag WP down together..

This remind me of ting pei ling.. younger days when she 1st step into election and the Kate Spade, the stomping the feet. End up cause marine parade to lose a lot of vote for pap. Lucky that ge they still win marine parade ( that time gct stronghold). Then she learnt her lesson and grow up till now she's very well liked.

 

So in a way, if you say she is not fit and mature enough to represent people. Then I would also argue that if she were to give 1 more chance for her to improve.. who knows..

 

So it's all up to her now already. If she up her game and improve, then that's good for her and WP. If not then WP get dragged down. 

 

Anyway it's WP to decide also.. so got pros and cons..

I feel so too. Hope Mr Pritam Singh would have a good talk with her. Otherwise she can be that crew that sinks the whole ship.
