On a related note , I find that those SCDF ambulance flashing lights at night is quite intolerable . Everything seems to be one blurry flashing image 😅

Yes, very blinding effect

@BabyBlade its better that you start looking for a good optician to at least run a test of your sight, degree or astig or whatever. they can advise you better on how to workaround it.

and it would make driving more comfortable. see lights instead of see stars all the time

If a person has astigmatism plus dry eyes, driving at night or low dim lights quite a challenge.

I have astigmatism and live with it, cause if i wear glasses with astigmatism, might feel dizzy. Even though the glasses with astigmatism helps a lot. Lol.

Recently went JB at night then dim lights + traffic lights I see stars I know it's about time I get glasses.

Agree with you. I have mentioned it before. The ambulance is already decorated like a Christmas tree, why the LTA allow them to flash white lights to the rear? They are really blinding.👎👎

Get your eye check and get glasses for astig.

It is very annoying to drive without the glass.

I have both astig and short-sighted.

i even worse than you. astig + short + lao hua. 🤣

But can see is better than cannot see.

Now very easy. Use handphone zoom in.

I have short sighted,  old flower and astig. Progressive lens is the one to go.... but very ex.

agree but i find it worth the money. no need keep changing glasses.

Only way out is wait for cataract then change lens and all issues resolved with surgery.

My astig is very high.

Driving at night is quite bad.

If see stars and you always drive at night, better get glassess. For me my vision would get blurry a bit and things i see not very sharp. Esp if my eyes are tired, it would become even worst.

thats the idea. they want to make it irritating to others so that you will get out of their way and not follow them too closely at the rear. 😂

When it is at night and raining, it is bad.  Short distance ok but long distance night drive, your eyes will get tired very fast.

Anti glare yellow tinted lenses?  Think they are all BS. Being there, done that. And it is not safe to drive with dark tinted glasses that blocks of incoming light at night.  Already suffering from reduced night vision due to asti, you will end up working your eyes harder.

Last time used to be red only; then became red + blue; and now becomes red + blue +white. And each round, the "flashings" become more and more hyper, from revolving light that was easy on the eyes to current strobing lights that make the ambulance looks like a roving discotheque on wheels. 😕
