Whether it is the pilot contacting the India airport, or them seeing a stealth jet that is equipped with such spoofing devices, sure, they can see. But in a real shooting match, the stealth jets are intended to look quite different on radar. BTW, the US has reactivated their F-117A, quite likely in an aggressor role to train against other adversaries' stealth jets.

HTF will they maintain them. And they supposed to serve till possibly 2040s😬?? ".....Their transfer is seen by Malaysian defense planners as a practical interim solution to address gaps in combat readiness while awaiting the delayed implementation of the MRCA program, which is now projected to commence under the 15th Malaysia Plan around 2040....." If SMRT were to resort to getting 2nd hand 1990s trains to use till even 2030, heads wold roll even in MOT, and they talking fighter jets whose bodies must be subjected to huge stress. Interestingly... news of getting Turkish Kann. Wonder if thats anything eventually to do with their MRCA. If they get Kann, whats the deal with another platform in 2040 when the Kann should serve 30 years easily.😅 https://www.malaysiandefence.com/kaan-for-rmaf-mrca-5g/#google_vignette They reallllyyyy screw up their defence planning to end up where they are today.

Some NATO forces changing to F35s already transferring spare F16s even. ive also read before that malaysia had a lot of problems with Russian contractors too. Sending entire jet back to russia for deep maintetnce cant be easy.

I think it's easier to build a missiles or rocket to break through a defence shield. Compare to building a shield that can stop all incoming missiles And it's easier to build a radar to detect stealth, then build a stealth that can evade all radar. A lot of times, massive number of missiles/rockets overwhelm air defence resulted in a number of missiles/rockets not detected. Even know which frequency can detect stealth plane, the computer must be able to recognise it as a plane and NOT bird. ↡ Advertisement
