Talking about increase, car price back in the late 1990s i remember was already ridiculous. 90K for a corolla, nissan sunny, mazda 323 etc. 200K for a merc E class.

Looking at prices now, they're actually quite affordable respectively.

I don't think this has changed. The number of cars remained the same, now with the govt bring forward some COEs I think the situation even worse.
