I have been winging it without a properly inflated spare wheel for 6 years now. Why? Because that spare wheel is more than 10 years old. I wouldn't dare to use it even if properly inflated. It's a donut tyre so it's almost impossible to find a new replacement anyway (or it will be hideously expensive).

What i do is, i carry a tyre inflator with me. For slow leaks, just keep inflating the tyre regularly until you get to a tyre shop.

Of course, if it is a blowout situation, nothing much you can do. Therefore timely replacement of tyres every 5 years is recommended, regardless of remaining thread depth.

I wish I have this problem coz mine don't even have donut. 

P.S.  Those have Camry donut to give away,  please let me know.  🤣

I have been driving in Msia with PSS/PS4 and without spare tyre.

for myself, quite simple, I spend most of my time in SG, so any puncture is probably at most 15-30min drive away from a workshop/tireshop for quick repair. I just carry around a 12v ciggy lighter powered air pump to pump up any low pressure tire to give me the time to get to the shop.

Last time when I was going up malaysia abit more in my other car (supposed to be factory RFT, but i switch out to non-RFT), other than the air pump, I got myself a a quick tire repair kit that involves injecting some proprietary liquid into the tire via the valve and it will sustain the car for distances similar to RFT. Enough distance for me to get my car back from Malaysia. Luckily, I have yet to utilize it...kind of like insurance, I rather don't need to claim for it.😁

yes, i was also thinking about this the slow leak, which can be mitigated with a tyre Inflator....but a blowout will be gone case for both RFT and Non RFT!

thanks for sharing....i believe the pros outweight the cons by changing to Non RFT....just that been travelling a bit to Msia nowadays...it's on my mind, and my next change is definitely to try Non RFT on my ride...Actually, i have not tried out Non RFT since getting the car in 2016 and all my previous 3 set of shods are RFT! 

So definitely gonna try out...moreover is a lot cheaper...$$$..

I change different tyre already need to look at load index and find out what is the correct pressure. 🤣

In the owners' manual actually indicated the donut size.  Just that AD spec don't have the donut. 🤣

Get a full sized spare, not donut. Donut tyres very hard to find and thus very expensive
